Love the salads – and the thin crust pizzas are amazing!

Talk about a great atmosphere! Everyone seemed very excited to be there and during the weekends they even have a live band playing. The staff is great and the pizza is not bad either. This place is definitely not going out of business anytime soon.

This is an artisan wood-fired pizza place. It’s got a bit of a hipster vibe(which I think is the point). The pizza is delicious, high quality, and definitely a step above. The service can be spotty sometimes and occasionally I’ve gone by with a friend and they were closed at times when it seemed like they should be open… at least according to the sign and the time of day. I’d also say the place is very clean, usually quiet, and has a nice atmosphere.

Their Pizza’s are divine! The prices are a little steep but usually worth it, if you are willing to spend the money. Service is always great, not to mention everyone that works there looks like a model. Gluten Free friendly is a big plus, doesn’t detract from the amazing crust flavor.

I came here with my wife and kids because of the high Unilocal rating. I’m a fan of good pizza and this place does have good pizza. It’s not pizza made by god but it is good and the price is within reason. The cooks were friendly and I don’t have complaints on the service. I don’t think I was blown away like all the other reviews say but it is probably the best pizza place in Logan. The lion bread or whatever it was called is just cheese on one of their pizza crusts so nothing to die for but it is good. Overall I’m happy that a place like this is in Logan and I hope it stays this way.

I like that this place is a little different than the rest of the pizza places in the valley. They offer more«artisan» style pizza, bread, etc. I wasn’t blown away by any means, but everything tasted really good, really fresh, and flavorful. The lyon bread was good, but nothing amazing. Realtively good price. Great atmosphere. The food came out pretty quickly and the service was above par.

If I could pack Jack’s in my bag and take it back to Los Angeles I totally would! Pizza was awesome, poppy seed salad dressing was to die for, and the staff was super impressive with their teamwork and friendliness. Special shout out to Weston! I hope we win the sound system upgrade at Maverik Stadium so I can come back often and introduce my employees to a fine fun place to eat!

I’m Italian, from the east coast, and put my time in in Federal Hill, but this might take the prize for best pizza I have ever encountered. Fire grilled to perfection. They do not overload the pizzas here like I encounter a lot back home, which then makes it difficult to support the toppings on a thin crust and you end up with bare pie and eat the toppings with a fork. Here the pizza can bear the load of its toppings. As far as the toppings, big ups for the peach and the pig, and the local berry pizza.

My wife and I stopped here on a whim during our recent visit to Logan. Typically when I go for pizza, I tend to go with more traditional offerings. That said, I couldn’t resist the curiosity incited by the their«the Pig and the Peach» pizza. So I ordered that and an Italiano Pepperone… just in case. Boy am I glad I did! Not only was the non-traditional pizza good, it was easily one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Would I recommend this place? Absolutely! Be sure to go with an open mind and try something unusual. The only reason I wouldn’t give this place 5 stars is because the menu is a bit overpriced, but I could still see myself shelling out the money because of the quality.

Alright, this isn’t a «5 star restaurant» in the traditional sense, but I’m giving it 5 stars because, for what it is, it’s excellent, and I honestly can’t think of any downsides to my experience at Jack’s! My waitress was very friendly, and service(including cook time) was quick. I was relaxing and eating at a very leisurely pace, but a family sat down after me and was done before I finished. I think this would be a great place for many types of customers and occasions, including families with young children — what kid doesn’t love pizza, and it’s at your table before they even have a chance to think about fussing. And it’s not quick because they’re throwing on canned and frozen toppings. I appreciated that the menu listed local farms, etc. from whom they try to source as many of their ingredients as possible. I had nearly given up hope of finding a restaurant in Logan serving fresh spinach. The variety and originality of pizza offerings was impressive, but I decided to create my own: spinach, roasted garlic, and artichoke hearts. The menu specifies that the artichoke hearts are marinated, but the spinach and roasted garlic were obviously fresh and the pizza was light and delicious. The décor is simple but cute and the high ceilings kept it from being awkwardly quiet even at the end of the night with only a few people dining. As if to drive home the authenticity, employees were unloading a truck of firewood as I was leaving :) While this isn’t the sort of place I’d get all dressed up for, I’d be happy to come here on a casual date night, with a group of friends, with family, whatever. The menu includes Pepsi products and other non-alcoholic beverages, beer(including a gluten-free option), and wine. A really pleasant experience.

Yep, good pizza. Service was also excellent as they adjusted the items as per our request even when I forgot to say so immediately. The pizza was quite good and I particularly enjoyed the crust especially after running a marathon earlier today! My coworker eating with us thought that the pizza was very good but may be a bit greasy as it came. My fiancé loved it and will write her own super review.

One of the best pizzas I have ever had. Period. I have over 20 years experience in the Pizza Business and have had my fair share of Pizzas. I watched the kids make the pizza and marveled at the 1000 degree oven that cooked it in about 2 minutes. The ingredients were excellent and in generous quantities. We also had the pesto bread which was insane it was so good. If I am back in Logan Utah Again, forget a steak dinner — I am having some more of this pizza!

I think that was the best wood fired pizza I have eaten. I’m still in happy dance mode over how delicious everything was. We stopped here after reading the reviews on our way back from Bear Lake to Seattle. I love wood fired pizza and have tried every spot in Seattle up until last winter when I moved out of the city. This pizza rivals if not beats the other spots. Perfectly crispy and slightly chewy crust. Balanced ingredients where you can truly enjoy their house-made sausage, sauces, and fresh ingredients. I can’t speak for the beverages as we only drank water, but they had multiple options including a limited selection of beer on tap.(Seems to be rare in Utah.) On top of great food the staff was friendly and accommodating, even during the heavy lunch rush. Bottom line: I would drive out of my way to come back.

I’ve had my fair share of pizza. NY style, Chicago deep dish, California and even other wood fired pizza and I can honestly that was the best pizza I’ve ever had. I definitely recommend it and will be coming back soon.

Everything about this place is great. Everything is so fresh, local and good. It’s pizza that you can’t get anywhere else because of the wood fired oven and the Artesian style

Wood fire pizza always seems to be a gamble with me! I LOVE the crispy and crunchy crust – as long as it’s not TOO crispy and crunchy and, well, burnt. But that was not the case here. It seems they have perfected the art of «perfect crispness» and my meal came to me with flying colors. The only reason I didn’t give a five star rating was because I ordered the BBQ pizza with fresh pineapple – and it wasn’t my favorite taste. BUT, my sister got the Chicken Avocado Calzone and boy oh boy! That was incredible. The décor is very different, but that’s what makes it fun! Random strings of lights and photos, the seats and booths seem not to coordinate that well either, but honestly it was different and that made it fun. TIPS&TRICKS: * We couldn’t find a place to park, so if you’re meeting a big wig or a hot date there for dinner – make sure to arrive a couple extra minutes early so you can scour the parking in Logan. * Get the salad instead of the soup, I tried both and enjoyed the salad more.

This could be a 5 star place. It has that kind of potential. It did not, however, reach that area, as it was missing several of the little things that separate the good from the truly great. Start with ambiance and atmosphere. This place screams for some tvs. Try finding one. Nope. So, it’s going for more of a straight-ahead restaurant vibe. With the wood fire oven up front, not so shabby, right… except there is far too much equipment that shouldn’t be exposed that is… exposed. Diet Mt. Dew on tap in the fountain, but mix was crap… definitely would have preferred pitches. Décor here in the back room is fairly austere and looks unfinished, almost like they were going for a Viking hall and got bored at some point and just stopped. That would be fine thematically, aside from the pizza menu. Again, tvs. Comfort. This place could make some subtle touches and be a wonderland. May also need to replace some staff. Food-wise, this isn’t going to make anyone miss Settebello and if you put it in Salt Lake, it wouldn’t be dead last, but would need an increase in quality to be competitive. It’s another of those«great for the area» type places. Haley is right that you want to kind of be very selective as to which pizza you get, as there are several interesting choices but some of them can also be dogs. The cheesebread stuff is mostly fine, pretty inoffensive there. No pepper or cheese shakers on table was weird, as it definitely needed the assist. Had to use packets for it. Again, weird. Pizza was executed very well, however and the guy manning the oven was aces. Again, more nudges and this is elevated considerably. If I’m up that way again, I probably would consider going back, but not until I’d looked through some alternatives first. If you’re after pizza up there, though, this is probably the best bet… at least until you get to Ogden. One other point of note is that this was recommended by Haley B. and marks the first time I’ve gone to a place on a direct recommendation of a Unilocaler, so there it is, for time and all eternity, Haley is/was my first.

Jack’s Wood Fired Oven is incredible! In my experience, Jacks has been the most highly recommend pizza place in Logan and has quickly gained a reputation of quality wood fire pizza. Their made from scratch dough is hard to beat! I’ve tasted the majority of the menu and have never been disappointed. My all-time favorite is, hands down, the Chuck Wagon pizza. Smoked pulled pork, BBQ sauce, and jalapenos make for a delicious pie that I have yet to find better. The service and atmosphere is also fantastic. I have never heard anything bad from the locals and would highly recommend Jacks to anyone looking for quality pizza.
