The Perfect Pear

Just ran in to get a quick birthday gift. I only had a few minutes and the girl that was there was very helpful! I was in and out in 10 minutes! She asked all kinds of questions to help me as quickly as possible. I have gone in this store many times before and no matter who’s there I always get great service!

I came here today with my Black friend to show her how cute the store is. The store is nicely decorated with a pleasant display of inexpensive jewelry. The first time I had come, the owner of the store was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately today’s visit was very different. There were two young girls behind the counter. Neither one of them could be bothered with our presence.
Sadly both girls were friendly to the Caucasian customers who arrived before us and the Caucasian customers that arrived after us. They made it a special point to not even make eye contact with us.
Needless to say I did not make a purchase. The next time I want to buy chrysalis jewelry I will purchase it from another dealer or online. Their behavior is tragic in this day and age. I understand there is still a heavy amount of racism in Lodi but I expected more from a trendy downtown store. As for the girls, I pray that ignorance does not plague their entire life. A career in retail should be reconsidered until their eyes and hearts can be opened. Until then, they should probably opt for a job in an underground bar somewhere in white America.
1−9−15: After I first posted this review, the owner apologized for the behavior but still did not want to believe that their employees acted in this unprofessional manner.
Please note upon our arrival there were two other customers in the store that left while we were in the store and two ladies who came in after. I would hope that to employees could handle six people.
To the owner, please be assured I will not revisit your establishment. I will spend my money elsewhere. It is unfortunate that you choose to protect people who are harming your business rather than to work on the problem and remedy the situation. Good luck.

Great assortment of beautiful and fairly priced accessories. I have been 3 – 4 times just to look and have always left with something I love and couldn’t live without. Please go in and give this place a glance you will not be disappointed.
