I moved to neighborhood a few months ago. However, never knew this place existed and ordered from a place in Garfield. The pizza is excellent for the price and literally less than half a mile from my home. Can’t beat that!

I was pleasantly surprised by the pizza here. I’ve lived right around the corner from this pizza joint for two years and didn’t know it existed until I looked on Unilocal.I decided to support some local biz and pop in on a Friday night for a slice to go. Inside, is a cross between a convenience shop/deli. It took a lot of self control to not buy some scratchers while waiting for my pizza. Amongst the pizza and scratchers, I noticed they also offered burgers and sandwiches. I wouldn’t really recommend dining in, the place has limited seating and extremely warm inside(no AC, only fans.) Unfortunately, they only had plain for individual slices left. I normally like some type of topping on my pizza but decided to just go with it. You can’t really beat two slices for $ 3. The pizza itself was a good size, had a nice crunch to it, and wasn’t too doughy. Overall the pizza was pretty good, I’d recommend calling ahead and getting a few pies to go since their slice selection is limited. ***CASHONLY***

Walts pizza is the best I ever had. I go there 2 to 3 times a day, great coffee and Ryan makes the best breakfast in town. But the veggie pizza is by far the best they make and they make a lot. You definitely get your money’s worth here. Walt is got to be by far the nicest man I know. He and his son Ryan always have a smile on their face, just all around great people. I lived in Lodi for 23 years and that’s how long I’ve been going there. Thank you guys for the great pizza, breakfast, sandwiches, ice cream Sunday’s and great pancakes over the years. I just wanted to say back in March I got hurt at work and was in the hospital for 28 days in NYC. The day I got out my wonderful wife Kim asked me what do you want to eat when you get home. I said Veggie pizza from Walt’s he gave me 2 pies and would not take my wife’s money. Great people with a great heart. Thank you guys Tim Foucher.

I ordered from this joint a couple of weeks ago. The pizza lacked cheese, the crust was crunchy and easy to chew down with a soft drink on the side. they just need to stop being greedy with the cheese. The marinara sauce did not feel authentic I can almost compare it to a ragu sauce from your local supermarket how ever I’ll give them another try just because The crust nailed it.

Lodi’s best hidden gem. This place is like 1957, fountain shop vibe with the stools and everything, very cool. Friends kept tellin me go, go, go. So i did. I got a plain slice, it was good but not THE best, but good, I’d eat it again. Then i tried the sicilian, OUTOFTHISWORLD, to say the least. That and a can of soda, 2bucks, I’m good. Best part ws the guy next to me had an englishmuffin with PB n J. That’s service for ya.

Pizza is like sex. Even when it’s bad, it’s still good. Having said that, I moved to Lodi a few years ago and I tried it simply cuz my wife and her sisters had nice things to say. It’s right by a school so I’m sure that the people that used to go here for lunch as kids like going back for that nostalgic vibe. There are a handful of places very close by that are MUCH better, like Napoli or Hasbrouck Heights Pizzeria. I wouldn’t turn this away if offered but I’d definitely recommend about 6 places over this one.

OK … I’ve lived in Lodi for 11 years and didn’t know of this place and VERY sorry for that. I used to order from various pizza places and some were good some OK and many well let’s just say BLAH. I was giving up and thinking — pizza +N.J. = no more pizza… THEN… My husband heard of this place & decided to give it a try &&&&WOW!!! PIZZA!!! YAY Delicious well made and I did I say DELICIOUS… Old school pizza… And the staff is wonderful too. We ordered a pepperoni thin crust and 2 large hot sandwiches which were as long as my arm… all together under $ 30… This is now my NEW place to go. I highly recommend this place… If I could I would give 10STARS. Thank you &GREATJOB in bringing pizza back…

The BEST pizza place in Lodi! And if you think their pizza is good, try anything else from the menu! Ryan is the best on the grill and Walt’s pizza is to die for!

Amazing! We’re new to the area and looking for a good authentic pizza place. We’ve tried a few others on the HH blvd and have been satisfied but this is our new favorite place! Not only was the pizza delicious it was a bargain compared to the other places we tried. The sauce was fresh and homemade! We got the Sicilian pie and it was just the right thickness with the perfect crunch and chewiness all together. The fact that they don’t take credit cards means nothing! It’s worth going out of your way and making sure you’ve got cash! We will definitely be going back.

This is not one of those fancy pizza places that draw fancy pictures with the sauce on your plate, it is just GREAT pizza. If you want fabulous pizza you want to go here. You go for the pizza not to mention the owner is super nice.

Tried this place tonight and just finished eating. I ordered a mushroom regular pie. I usually go for Sicilian regardless but decided to give the flat pizza a go– absolutely amazing. Delivery guy kept a ton of pizza he was delivering in a hot box and there must of been tons! NOWONDER. Can’t believe I didn’t try this place sooner. They don’t take credit cards but they take checks so your covered :) totally recommend!

I’ve been eating some of the best pizza NYCNJ and even Chicago has to offer however this little establishment in Lodi NJ has the best pizza you will ever eat, bar none! Walt and his family have been a staple of Lodi Italian family tradition, are wonderful people and by the way, did I say the pizza is the best pizza you will ever eat? It tastes the same today as it did 35 years ago. Talk about stability! Thanks Walt, keep makin’ those Sicilian pies!

When I was a young boy, Mr. Curioni was the coach of my 8th grade basketball team. He was a nice guy then, and he’s continued that fine approach at life up to now. The pizza at his pizzeria was always my favorite and his shop is a neighborhood favorite. Curioni’s has been family-run and owned since 1923. The pizza is good but the Sicilian is better. There are only 8 stools in the entire pizzeria. This isn’t a place where you can take a large group. But it’s never busy enough to where you won’t find a place to sit. Well, maybe during dismissal time from the school across the street. I love this pizzeria. It’s my second favorite in all of Bergen County. Their pizza may not be the best, but it’s the memories that I had growing up in Lodi that keeps bringing me back. I’m caught up…
