Called John this morning, he was out to help within 2 hours… he was at another job at the time. Came out assessed what was wrong, the gear that drives the chain/​belt to open and close the door had broke. He gave me an estimate over the phone, and that was the price I paid. No bait and switch or «well you see there is this…» Once he fixed the gear he oiled all the hinges and then noticed that one side was catching when it came down. He looked at it for a minute… took out his drill 2 minutes later no more CLANG when the door is coming down. And no extra fee for the small repair or the oiling either. Would recommend John and Afford A Door in a heartbeat.

I’m pleased with the service this company and John was able offer to me. He showed up on time, reasonable price and got the job done quickly. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone. Now I have garage door working less than 45mins.
Btw the part John replace was the middle spring that connects inside with the rod.
