Highly recomend this local place. Handmade specialty pizzas are delicious and salads are always fresh. Comfortable casual atmosphere.

Came in on a cold day for some coffee and ice cream. No coffee. Nothing warm to drink whatsoever. Settled for the tiramisu, butterscotch cupcake and ice cream. The tiramisu was pretty bad. We didn’t finish it. Ice cream was plain vanilla so nothing to comment about. The cupcake was pretty good. We decided to order pizza to warm up. You can only order whole pizza not by slice. Pizza was good. We got The Mary Margaret which is basically a margherita. Staff was friendly which was the only thing that pushed them to 3 stars.

Wow. Great stop on our way back to Houston. We were going to Smitty’s on New Year’s Day but it was closed. Super nice people. Ordered at the bar. Got the Brock and Margaret. The sausage on the Brock is crazy good! Very good ingredients on these pizzas!!! Margarita was one of the bests I’ve had. The crust is thin and crispy but has a nice chew. Seriously sooooooo good! Kids got the yummy Dublin sodas and guys got a couple of the texas craft beers. Love the atomosphere! Thanks for a nice stop Loop! We plan to come back when we are back in Lockhart! –the Fikkerts & Holmes families.

We recently moved to Lockhart from Austin and are super excited to have a great pizza place to go to. The staff is AMAZING. Super friendly and always smiling. Save the Brock is a household favorite. Pizza is fresh, salads are great and service is wonderful, what else could you ask for!

The most amazingly friendly service I’ve had in Lockhart. The pizza and salad are delicious. Crust is tender and the Smokehouse is a great blend of salty, spicy and a little sweet. The antipasto salad was full of yummy goodies, and the local craft beer paired perfectly. We’ll definitely be back!

We were in town for a volleyball game and weren’t in the mood for BBQ, so decided to try Loop and Lil’s based on Unilocal reviews. So glad we did! Great pizza, and local beer on tap!

This place is great and a welcomed addition to Lockhart! I don’t even like pizza and I love it. The staff is friendly and as soon as you walk in you get hit the most amazing smells of fresh herbs and spices. My favorite was the Zedler mill ghost!

Love this place! The pizza is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the prices are fair. Plus, it’s a local business, not a national chain, which I always appreciate. They even have awesome locally made soda, not Coke or Pepsi. Will definitely be back!

So nice to have a neat new establishment in Lockhart. Food was very good and reasonably priced for the quality you get. Portions were huge. I really liked the décor and the staff was great. And although I didn’t have any it’s nice to have a place nearby that has craft beers available.

My husband and I have enjoyed Loop & Lil’s twice and both times we were very favorably impressed. The pizza has a great house-made crust and all the vegetables, cheese, and meats are super fresh. The service is great and everyone is very friendly. The ambiance is casual and easy with lots of nice touches like tree-stump pizza stands. Getting a great pizza place in Lockhart is most welcome. We love it!

I love pizza! This place is awesome! Food is great, the space is beautiful and the staff is friendly. I came here with a group of friends from work. We made the trek out to Lockhart mid day. They open at 3PM so we planned to arrive then. As we were walking up to the restaurant we were greeted by a cute chalkboard sign. I had seen photos online and was intrigued by the space. When we walked in and I finally got to see the real thing I was shocked. It’s much spacious than the photos did it justice. Very open space and nice high ceilings. This is counter service so you order at the bar and then find a seat. The bar area is really nice which will make a great home for about 15 craft/Texas beers on tap once their liquor license kicks in. Me and two of my friends go their before the other half of the group did and we went ahead and ordered pizzas. The drive from Austin kind of works up an appetite. We ordered a meaty pizza — Save the Brock: Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Bacon and Ham and a veggie The Mary Margaret: Basil, Fresh Mozzarella, Roma Tomatoes, Olive Oil and Italian Herbs. We all order drinks and were so excited to try all the Dublin sodas and Moonshine Sweet Tea. We took a seat and just kept looking at the space. There’s a stage set up with like a house front on it. The owner Richard described it as his«One Act Play» stage. At any moment someone is going to bust out the faux doors and start singing«Oklahoma!» All the pizzas are made to order. The dough is from scratch and stretched out with love. Our Save the Brock came out first and The Mary Margaret shortly after. Oh man! Pizza crust is thin and crispy but still has that nice chew. The sauce on the Save the Brock was light, subtle and fresh. There was plenty of meat but evenly distributed on the pizza. The pepperoni and ham were crispy. I loved this because it wasn’t just piled on and soggy. The crust still had a nice crunch on crust. The Mary Margaret is one of the best margherita pizzas I’ve had in awhile. Again the crust stayed crispy, plenty of basil and the mozzarella was perfect. It wasn’t soggy like other marg pizzas I’ve had and you can really taste the creamy, milkiness that mozzarella provides. Our friends arrived about half way through our pizza feast and I got to taste some of their choices. This is gonna be crazy but I tried it and it wasn’t too bad. One of my friends(a couple) ordered a pineapple, anchovy and pineapple pizza. This is a different spin on sweet and savory. I’ve had anchovies before in other foods but never on pizza. I wasn’t completely opposed to it so I was open to try it. A nice saltiness from the little fishes and a sweet juiciness from the pineapple. Their second pizza was a half and half duo — Smokehouse: Smoked Pork Sausage, Red Onions, Red Bell Pepper, Pickled Jalapeños and BBQ Sauce and The Out of Towner: Artichokes, Feta, Roasted Red Bell Pepper, Genoa Salami and Pesto. I just tried a small piece of the Smokehouse. This is a great version of BBQ pizza There was sausage in every bite and the veggies added a nice crunch with the sausage. The BBQ sauce was drizzled so strategically that you got just enough sauce with every bite and it wasn’t overwhelming the entire pie. The food is awesome and reasonably priced. Shout out to the very friendly lady working the counter! She was so pleasant when we placed our order. We got a few moments to chat with the owners Richard and Miranda that used to work at the fancy natural/organic food store in Austin. They are really nice people and are doing really well in Lockhart. In a place that doesn’t have nicer restaurants other than BBQ they have found their niche. Richard has lots of ideas and plans for special events at the restaurant so stay tuned Lockhart! Y’all are super lucky to have delicious pizza in your hood. I’m so glad I don’t live close by or else I might turn into a pizza.

Food is good. People are nice. Prices are reasonable. Service is reasonably fast for a fresh pizza. I overheard the owner talking about how everything is fresh and never frozen. The Dublin drinks are a cool touch.

First want to thank the owners for opening up in Lockhart. Now I know the real question is, how is the pizza? It is very very good. A wonderful New York style 16in thin crust with a very flavorful pizza sauce. The toppings had great flavor as well, and the cheese was out of this world with just the right amount of stretch as you pulled the piece away after a bite. Got a calzone to go, and it was so good. The salad was a bit on the lack luster side, could use some more veggies in it. But I didn’t go for the salad. The décor was ok but it too can use a little help, but they did just open. So not going to hold that against them. So go and support this new local business if you want a really great pizza!!!

I have prayed many moons to the pizza gods for good pizza in Lockhart. I am so happy the day has come! Loop and Lil’s pizza is delicious, the restaurant itself is very cute, there is a great soda selection, and finally the staff was so sweet and welcoming. Move over BBQ! ;) Also, it looks like the bar next door allows you to bring in pizza. PS Also, it closes at 10pm(woohoo)!! Which is rare for a business in Lockhart.

This brand new addition to Lockhart’s food scene is located right on Main St. in a very spacious location. They offer a selection of Dublin Brand Fountain drinks, variety salads, friendly and attentive service, not to mention a nice selection of 16″ thin crust pies(either pre designed house pies or build your own) that are every bit as good as HomeSlice Pizza in Austin. I’ll defiantly be back soon.

Best pizza we’ve had in a long time! In a town known for BBQ who’d think of gourmet pizza? Apparently LOTS of people judging by how full it was. Awesome to see a kids meal option too and the salad(which my wife and kids rarely like) was inhaled like it was the last supper. Obviously everything here is made fresh, made from scratch and with the highest quality ingredients. The crust, made completely in house, cooks up light and chewy with great texture and flavor. It doesn’t get soggy with the sauce and its not too thick or too thin. Yummy. Just go!
