I’ve had several massages here and enjoyed them. All have been walk-in. It’s similar to the places I’ve been to in Asia – communal setting, clothes on. The staff is pleasant & the manager helps out if language or service issues. Since acupressure massage tends to be very deep, It’s a good idea to let your masseuse know at the beginning of your session the type of pressure you like-light, medium, or deep.

A great massage is like a fine piece of art; it takes controlled, talented and skillful hands to create. With that analogy, Wu Xing employs the Rembrandt’s and Picasso’s of the acupressure/reflexology world. This company used to be located inside Laurel Park Place mall next to the bubble tea shop. Another reflexology company has taken over their old location but fret not; simply walk through the doors next to the old location and leave the mall, cross the zebra crossing into the building next door and less than 30 steps away is the one and only original!(Say no to imposters). Conversely, you can also reach them from the other side of this building by the Phoenix movie theatre entrance as they are a few stores down from the theatre. The new location is absolutely beautiful. Sage green walls and dim lighting give the space a serene, spa like feel. They now have several private rooms which include ceiling bars. yes– for balancing the therapists while they are walking on you. Services include reflexology foot massages which are heavenly at any time, but mostly so after a long day of shopping, working, excersising etc. The chair massages focus on back, neck and shoulders but our personal favorites are the table massages. These are very different from any regular massage you might be familiar with. they are nothing like a traditional Swedish or sports and/or deep tissue massage — however they are absolutely wonderful in their own category. Truthfully, they are the only thing that can get me completely relaxed and feeling better almost instantaneously.

I was in desperate need of a massage, so I went here today. I tried about 20 other places first, but they were booked up. My massage can best be described in one word: violent. I felt like I was being tortured for information. I tried to convey through my body language that I was in pain, but my therapist did not notice or did not care. I eventually asked her to go a little lighter, and she did. Even so, the massage was not a pleasant experience. She handled me very roughly, and in fact I’m quite certain she was angry about something. She and the gal next to me exchanged words about something(in another language), and it was quite clear that my therapist was upset about something. Sadly, she took her anger out on my body. I will not be returning.

Highly Recommended for Chronic Neck or Back Pain. This accupressure massage will hurt but is excellent therapy. No pain No Gain. All of the massage therapists are good and I go there once a month. I get 30 to 40 minutes each time!
