Great service. Great food. Great décor. Great time. Came here for a late snack & dessert during Game 5 between the Cavs and Golden State. The Margherita flatbread was great. The Caesar salad wasn’t good; the croutons were burnt. Neither was the garden salad. The steak fries and waffle fries were perfectly crunchy. Very tasty ranch. For dessert, we had the Mile High Ice Cream Pie and the Mega Ice Cream Cookie. The cookie was phenomenal. A big, soft, chewy, warm chocolate chip cookie topped with a few scoops of vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and a cherry on top. The Mile High Ice Cream Pie was 6 layers of ice cream between two chocolate pie crusts, topped with whipped cream and hot fudge, and a cherry on top. The service was slow, but great. Food came out in a decent amount of time. Our waitress, Barbara, was very sweet. Comfortable atmosphere. The cushioned seats are a bit low for the tables, but nothing unmanageable. We just had the taller two of our group sit there, and the shorter ones in chairs.

So overrated. So expensive. Crowds have dwindled. No surprise. Not a friendly person works here.

When you dine in, the food is good and they have a good variety. Getting carry out on a Saturday night is a bad idea. Took forever and got home to two cold burgers, cold calamari and nachos. The bathroom needed to be cleaned.

I’ve been to Champp’s a few times. It’s your average sports bar, and but it’s not loud and rowdy which is a plus. We usually walk over here after watching a movie at the AMC theater since they are in the same parking lot. What prompted this review was the seared Ahi Tuna appetizer. It’s served over a four pepper slaw and topped with pineapple jicama salsa and served with seasoned wonton chips. This was delicious. I also ordered the 8 oz. top sirloin, but sent it back. I ordered it medium, but it arrived somewhere between medium well and well done. The manager came over and apologized, and the next one was cooked as specified.

I think their Quesadillas are awesome. I was really hungry though so that might’ve played a factor. FYI I’m in a giving a review kind of mood. Everything was fine because I was just happy to be with my hot girlfriend, and her bubbly personality(pats self on back). However, they were serving beer that was relatively warmer than a beer should be. My girlfriend and I both got a beer(different ones). Both beers were not cold like they should be so it wasn’t our imagination. We politely informed our waiter. He mentioned(after we brought it up of course) that he thinks they had some cooler issues. He then joked that people in Europe sometimes drink their beer warm. I jokingly replied and that’s why they are weird. We didn’t make much of the situation because things happen. Bottom line this waiter either was miserable, or just s complete fool. I vote for both. Anyways, I later asked our waiter for more guacomole for our quesadillas. He said sure, but it does cost extra. Really man? You fail to give us a heads up on the tap coolers, and then don’t at least just give us extra guac? I don’t mind paying the extra $ 1 or whatever, but it’s prinicpal. It would’ve also been a good gesture to have your Manager stop by and apologize. That’s obviously just crazy talk though. Honestly, it wasn’t that big of a deal, but a little common sense goes far. Tip of the century; if you don’t like your job then leave. Otherwise, at least put on a good act that you’re happy to do what it takes to make good tips, and to provide an enjoyable experience for two lovebirds.

Female manager was rude and didn’t seem to know what she was doing. No thanks — ever again.

I ordered the vodka Farfalle and instead of the bow tie noodles I replaced it with penn pasta what I ended up getting was a cold plate of 90% peas, sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms and 10% chicken and penn pasta. It wasn’t that bad compared to the buttered crostini it looked and tasted like it was burned with butane torch. ITTASTEDLIKEBUTANE how is that ok?!? The reason why I give it two stars is because the soda was good.

It is hard to believe that the parking lot was full. The place is dirty and smelly. The food and drinks were awful. Both the bar bill and the dinner bill were incorrect, and no apologies. Just an awful experience.

Up to $ 24.00 steaks. Up to $ 15.00 Burgers. Up to$ 8.00 plus beers. Champps is proud. Food is mediocre, service is meh. This visit, never saw server after food was brought out. My fries were cold, not cooked and soggy. Sandwich was OK. Projection TV’s are dark and blurry. Parking at this location is shared with multiple other venues, can be a real PITA. Typical expensive chain, tables are old, chairs are old all in need of updating, fixing.

5.75 for a bud light draft. Waited an hr for food. Watched all the waiters stand at the bar waiting on drinks for their customers like a herd of cattle. Never coming here again. Ps. The fish is all breading.

Way overpriced drinks, service was not so good. They charge you a shot price for each liquor in a drink, regardless of whether it is 0.25 ounces or 1.5 ounces(normal shot price).

I really liked the French dip. The meat was medium rare as ordered. Service was above average. Great bar food.

Came here for beers and food with a friend. Once again had a marginal experience. Once again, food was good, service was so-so, beer selection was good. Price still just seems a little too high for me. I think this might be the last time I go to Champp’s when I have influence on the decision.

This is like any other Champps, big chain restaurant. It’s located across from the AMC theater and next to Bahama Breeze. It was a convenient choice to go to Champps for a quick dinner after watching a movie. The restaurant was pretty full. The bar had some open spots so we sat there. The service was pretty good. The food was meh. I was hungry, so I devoured the burger I ordered. Personally have had better food at other Champps locations.

Great service and food. This was my first visit here. This Restaraunt has a great ambiance of dining and wrapped around the bar. I had a chicken wrap it was absolutely wonderful. Our server was very helpful I was starving so hungry I had no idea what I wanted to eat. She suggested the chicken wrap, spot on! My fellow diner got a roast beef sandwich. It looked so good I tried a small bite it too was delicious. I would highly recommended dining here you of course order an adult beverage too.

This place is so-so at best for food. Why? –It’s pricey for what you get. $ 11 for a turkey roll-up?! I don’t care if you call it «Uptown» turkey on the menu, it was bland and I could have made this at home.(Although it may seem«blander» due to the very salty and raw garlicky pasta side dish.) –The menu options have recently been changed to fewer choices and prices are higher and/or portions are smaller(again!) based on what you order. Old faves like chicken salad sandwiches with soup have been cut. They still have soup and sandwich combos at lunch, but your choices are few. If you don’t trust me, look around there! I’ve been working in the area for years and have been there many times at lunch. It used to be busy… particularly on a Friday. The place was slowww with many open tables. Could it be a sign that people like the many other choices nearby better? Hmmm… let me, and management, think about that. Although only one of us can really do something about it. Hint: It’s not me.

I went with my parents right as the dinner servers came in, and so service was pretty great. This place has a LOT of televisions, but the atmosphere was much nicer than a regular sports bar. We sat on the patio area nearish to the fireplace. It was nice, though if you touched the brick it was very, very cold. Our server was really nice and very attentive. All of our entrees were delicious, and I really liked the sweet potato fries… more than my mashed potatoes. That almost never happens. This restaurant is pricier than what I’m comfortable paying for, but if someone else is footing the bill, I’d definitely go back.

I like the atmosphere. The menu is a bit restricted to me. I had a grown up grilled cheese sandwich and it was OK, but just so. It certainly wasn’t worth the menu price. The other people I was dining with seemed to enjoy their meals. I just feel like I can get more for my money in an area with so many establishments to choose from.

Do you get a rush when you know your getting a great deal? I do. So when i saw the happy hour special here after 10pm i was very happy. My friends and I indulged in the usual late night lager beers. I won’t be ashamed to say i had more than one Budweiser. They were only $ 2.50! Although a chain they did have 4 microbrews on tap as well. I found founders and shorts breweries present, props for supporting Michigan. The best part was the food. Chicken Satay — 5⁄5 — regular price: $ 13, Happy hour: $ 5 Essentially chicken strips on a stick.(checkout my picture it looks way better than what i made it sound like) They come with two asiany sauces. Loved both the sauce and the meat. Chicken, Bacon & Mozzarella Flatbread — 5⁄5 — regular price: $ 10, Happy hour: $ 5 Service Nothing exciting here. It took us awhile to get our food. I’ll have to swing by for a late night snack next time I’m in Novi.

Only decided to stop here because the movie we wanted to see was sold out for the next 2 hours. So why not get lunch! There was no wait which was great because we are on a time crunch. I unrolled my napkin to find used silverware with food dried up on it.(Just thinking about it makes me want to vomit). Unrolled the one more and another set of dirty silverware. Flagged the manager and I showed her what I found, obviously the dishwasher is overloading the amount of silverware into the bin and secondly how does the staff not see it! The manager looked at me like I did it and asked her for plastic ware, my mouth isn’t getting a disease from this. No sorry, no shocked look, I took it as a she can care less about it. The food was amazing, did have to send the Carolina Burger back because it wasn’t complete, but they expedited it real quick! Service was amazing as usual! So on a regular visit they would of received 5 stars but I take cleanliness, health and safety to the extreme! I want to eat my food, not someone else’s that was stuck to my fork and knife. The manager could of taken a handful of silverware make sure it was washed accordingly with soap and sanitizer and bring us «clean» silverware. But she came across as it wasn’t a big deal that this was a health violation. So with the combination of the disgusting silverware and the lady manager giving two hoots about it, I had to drop it down to 2 stars. This is a serious matter and makes me wonder how many times if any, I missed checking my silverware. Double check yours when you go eat there!
