My boyfriend at the time’s mother who is very fashion forward raved about this place so I figured I’d go in and take a look. I got really excited when I saw all of the great items but the girl working behind the counter didn’t even greet me and my mom when we walked in and was glaring at us the whole time while we looked at things as if she thought we didn’t look wealthy enough to grace their store with our presence. Not only that but when I looked at the prices I was floored. There is very little markdown and a lot of the bags which were clearly a bit dated were still in the thousands. If I had thousands to spend I would be buying retail. Take the trip to Our Saavy Design on Church Street in Montclair. You can get fabulous designer items for half the cost or less! Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci, Prada, T&Co., they have everything! Unless you have vast amounts of disposable cash, stay away from this place.

I have a VERY eclectic wishlist for designer items. Duet is one of the best places for me to find those pieces that I must add to my collection. On numerous occasions, after searching everywhere, that scarf/​bag/​necklace I want will appear at Duet. Lynn and her staff are amazing, very helpful, and very professional and competent in authenticating every item that sell. This is one of the few, if not the only, high-​end consignment boutique where I can be 100% sure that I am getting what I pay for.

I absolutely LOVE this store! I not only love the store Lynn and Joanna are fantastic. They know how to put the perfect outfit together and never let you leave the store looking less than fabulous. Their attention to detail and up to date fashion advice is a hugh added service you won’t find in most stores. Shop at Duet, you will not be sorry I promise!
