I have mixed feelings about this place. I scored a pair of pretty much brand new snow boots for my son today for $ 10. But I bought a dress that was priced at $ 20. It was so cute, I couldn’t not buy it… But I came home to research why it would be so expensive, thinking maybe it was some fancy designer or something… Nope, the dress brand new directly from the designer’s website was $ 24… The dress I paid $ 20 for… from Goodwill… Isn’t even in perfect condition. So it’s hit or miss. Sometimes you get a good deal, and sometimes you just don’t. I will say, $ 30 at Goodwill used to stretch A LOT further than just TWO items!

This place is pretty pricey for it being a Goodwill. It’s decent you gotta really search high and low. Went last week, didn’t read my receipt until tonight. The lady at the counter overcharged me $ 9.99 more. Darn, wish I payed attention so I can ask for a return. Oh well, hope the money will go somewhere good.

Can’t believe how expensive things have become here. $ 8 for a t-shirt? I can buy a t-shirt on sale at Kohls for that, even less. Also learned Goodwill only actually donates 10% of their earnings and they’re a FORPROFIT company with a CEO who owns a private jet.

Everything here is so overpriced! The CDs, music, and clothes are ridiculous! Thrift stores should be cheaper than what you could buy new. That is why they are called thrift stores, presumably… Also, it was really dirty in here when we went.

I love thrift stores. Always come in here and check out the art gems I might find. There’s a dude with dreads that works here that’s airways helpful, kind and kinda cute lol.

This was one of the cleanest GW stores I’ve visited. No clutter, no bad smell! It was easy to find items and the people were pleasant.

This is a nice Goodwill that is pretty organized. There is lots of clothing in stock here but I find the prices generally tend to be somewhat high for a thrift shop. They get name brand shoes but most range around $ 10 and up. They only have the occasional sale which is unlike most Goodwill stores in the San Jose, Santa Cruz, and Monterey area that have weekly sales. The only thing I find that I do not like about this store is that it seems that the clerks do not care when customers and their children open boxes of merchandise that they do not plan to buy. I once saw these children reconstructing a racetrack underneath a table. The parts came from what appeared to have been a sealed box. I mentioned this to a clerk and she did not seem to care and was reluctant to say anything to the children but when I pointed them out to her, she told them to put away the pieces when they are done with them. I was shocked! In most thrift stores, the clerks would confiscate that toys and remind the parents that this is a store and if you are not planning to buy it, then don’t open it. Later, I saw all the pieces scattered out of the box on top of the table. Even at a thrift shop, kids should not be allowed to play with the merchandise. This is not a playground after all. And as a customer, if I buy a box with parts in it to construct something. No matter if the item is new or used, I expect that the store employees have made sure all the parts are inside there. Then once placed in the store for sale, I still expect no parts missing. If I bought a box with race car track pieces, I expect everything in the box and in the shape they were when the box was placed on the rack for sale. I find especially in thrift shops because of such incidences such as this, that I have to examine thoroughly what I plan to buy for missing parts and such. Pros: –this store is well organized –lots of clothing in stock always Cons: –prices on merchandise are high for a thrift shop –this store has just the occasional sales on merchandise –staff do not seem to care when customers open boxes -

As with all stores, it’s hit or miss. I’m always on the prowl for boys’ clothes, and I usually find good deals. I got a great breast pump here that was sealed in the box. Plus it’s right next to another thrift store, which makes it easy to go to!

this goodwill store is actually clean, organized and doesn’t have that musky smell typical of inner city stores. the other problems still remain: –book prices are high(3.99) –no 25% off sales days like st. vincent de paul. –dearth of variety in inventory. notes on parking lot: –drivers here don’t stop for pedestrians nor cars.
