We had Dan do our concrete 6 years ago and still looks great without much cracking. That is amazing living in both a climate of extremes with earthquakes. He was always on the job and made sure to pick thoughtful and courteous staff. He even thought ahead for us for when we redid our front lawn a few year later the landscapers were happy to see the piping that ran under the sidewalk for the irrigation from one side to another. I would completely use him again for any concrete needs.

Dan and his crew recently did some concrete work for me widening my driveway and fixing some shoddy work done by another contractor several years ago. I’m extremely pleased with how the work was done. Dan is very professional and delivers what he promises. The price was fair and the quality of work was exceptional. He did a few extra things for no added cost that ensured the job was done right. I would definitely use him for any concrete work in the future.

Dan of Bigelow Concrete is a great person and very professional. I needed a part of my driveway, sideyard and backyard patio redone and I chose Bigelow concrete.
When I starting getting bids, Dan was very professional in his assessment and made suggestions that the other 2 contractors didn’t even mention, eventhough I knew I needed it. Effectively, I used it as a test. He came right out and said you need drainage and this is how you should do it. His bid was very competitive and did a good job of explaining what was important.
The work quality was excellent. Great consistency across the entire area. He was meticulous with the details and ensured the finish was perfect. He was very efficient and cleaned up each day for the duration of the project.
I redid my gate to the sideyard as well and he worked with me in coordinating schedules. Dan was always on time and worked with me despite my dog being a bit of a pain and the fact the fencing contractor was late on their commitments.
I have worked with many contractors over the years. Dan was one of the best ones. He is an old school tradesman who takes pride in doing what is right for the job and the customer. So old school that he still handwrites his contracts, doesn’t use email and has a cell phone from 2005 :). I would definitely recommend him and use him again.

We hired Dan Bigelow to do work in placing a concrete sidewalk along the side of our house. He was prompt, gave us a quote. Made valued suggestions on what was required, and even suggested how to finish the side with trees and rocks after the concrete work was complete.
He prepared the ground for the re-​barb, attached the existing french drains to other drains. He did a professional job within a week.
Other contractors gave us suggestions but none as thorough as Dan’s
