Eh, ok food. Not great, not bad.

Baja chicken bowl is good. Salsa is yummy. Customer service from Marta was HORRIBLE. High volume of customers came in and she was so rude. She made zero eye contact and would grab a card, slide it, and scream NEXT. When the food was ready I walked up to the counter and she just pointed at me to take it. Food might be great but my impression of Marta ruined my experience at the restaurant.

My family and I always go to Baja and love it. One of our favorites and always great food. Have come to know a few of the staff members and they are very friendly and nice.

Very friendly and helpful cashiers. They explained all the options I could make when I ordered without me even asking them to. I thought that was a very considerate thing. This was our first time eating at Baja Grill. The 99cent Guacamole and chips were great. The burritos were delicious and they were huge!

We love it here! It’s always clean, very friendly staff and delicious food. I love the shrimp tacos — scrumptious! If I’m extra hungry, I’ll get a burrito, totally customized and they get it perfect each time. Highly recommend!

Baja Fresh has healthier fare and more consistent service than local taquerias. They also have options with sensible and affordable portion sizes. This frees me from the monster burrito guilt (calories and cost) I feel at some of their competitors. Lastly, the Pronto Guacamole along with the salsa bar is what keeps me coming back.

OUTSTANDING! Had the grilled wahoo burrito Baja Style with lots of green salsa from the salsa bar. It can’t get any better than this! Especially for the price and super quick service. Very fresh!

My husband and I eat here regularly. It is always clean and well staffed. My husband loves the shrimp tacos and I get the Lime Shrimp salad (new). Both my husband and I agree that they put more shrimp than you would expect and the flavor is great. We are both a fan of their mango salsa especially with the shrimp. I have had the carnitas (which is my normally my go to meat), the flavor wasn’t as good as I have had elsewhere.

Haven’t been to one in years. Was always pretty pleased with them in the past. Had to grab a bite to eat this was right off the freeway. Trying to be good, I ordered a salad to go. It was ready and I noticed that the bag was big, so I was happy that it was a good sized salad.
But after opening it up at my destination, I noticed there wasn’t a whole lot of chicken. Kind of disappointing. Looks like I won’t be ordering salads next time.

I went there for the first time last weekend. I ordered the steak fajitas w/​black beans.
Nice salsa bar, although the mild regular was dark and weird looking. The hot wasn’t really hot at all.
My complaint? If it was «fresh» how did they manage to serve me so quick? My entire meal, minus the tortillas, was lukewarm, more on the cold side. They microwave the dinners! The veggies may be fresh, but the rest is not.
Taste was «ok», nothing special. Customer service was good.
Not enough positives to get me to go back.

Love Baja Fresh. Absolutely! Loved it even more when it had a restaurant in Tracy, but since I work in Livermore, I can still drop in for lunch now and then.
The bestest tasting shrimp ever! My go-​to order: Baja Ensalada with shimp (and sometimes with both shrimp and steak),…and piled high with extra cilantro and Molcajete salsa from the salsa bar. And don’t forget the cilantro ranch dressing!
Great location. Nice outdoor patio. Awesome staff.

Love this location. The people are so nice, the food is consistently good, and the place is clean (yes, even the bathrooms).

Love da Baja! Always my favorite spot to get some cantina steak tacos. This place looked a little dirty when I came in but that’s just due to dirty, messy folks tearing up the spot. Typical around these parts… was in 30 min before close a crew was doing a thorough job of clean up. Will be back next time I’m in town!

I went here for lunch and had the shrimp burrito:
Pros: Location is clean, friendly staff and has a decent salsa bar.
Cons: The food was not great. My burrito had a weird taste to it and the chips were stale.
Will not go back…

Another blast from the past. Chipotle is so much better, but who wants to drive to Dublin at 5:30 on a Friday. Dare I say that even Taco Bell is better…
Customer service was awesome, super nice. Employees were cleaning up as we waited for our food. It was fairly busy, but our food was ready quick.
I had a veggie burrito and chips and guacamole. I like that they put the calories up on the menu, so you that you don’t try to down your 900 calorie burrito in one sitting. The chips were stale and the guacamole was an unnatural green color. Burrito was majorly bland, I didn’t have any problem stopping at half. The main reason we went was to use a coupon, but I don’t think we will be back anytime soon.

For a long time I thought Baja Fresh was a glorified Taco bell that offered above average fast food. Sorry for judging too quickly. My husband had been a fan long before he convinced me that it was a good place for fresh mexican eats. I had been to other Baja Fresh locations a few times and nothing really impressed me.
Recently, our list of local restaurants has been tweaked a bit because we’ve made efforts to eat healthier. The taqueria isn’t ideal for this kind of lifestyle. I’m picky about fresh, flavorful food and if healthy can be added to this mix I’m all in.
Knowing that I’m going to get freshly made food at a lower cost than the other popular mexican restaurants in town is reason enough to drive across town. Outdoor seating is perfect on a warm summer night. Depending on who is working, the music can be really jumping. I’m a salsa music fanatic. The employees are friendly and the service is tops. The salsa bar is pretty good. Guacamole and chips is a MUST. Isn’t this a super food?
For the most part, I have a few things that I look for on a mexican menu. One of them is fish tacos. When I first tried the fish tacos I knew it would be my go-​to order for a satisfying, light and flavorful meal. The chicken tortilla soup is also very good. The other night I tried the cabo salad burrito. It was decent, but I always add lime and a ton of salsa to make it just right for my palate. Next on my list of items to try is the Bare Style burrito– basically a burrito served in a bowl without a tortilla, on a bed of Romaine lettuce and the Fire-​grilled Skinny Chicken Bowl– Achiote marinated fire-​grilled chicken, black beans, green chiletomatillo rice, squash & achiote onions topped with tomatillo salsa fresca. That sounds really good. Hubby loves the asada tacos and sometimes a burrito. They list the calories so you know what you are getting into before you order.
