We rented a cabin for 2 nights and a golf cart. We had a great time and so did the kids!

To be fair, this is my FIRSTRV park experience. I don’t know how to compare it with other RV parks. But I am a frequent traveler, and I can compare it to the hospitality industry in general.(Here’s the only positive I can write of this place; When I did get to my site and hooked up, I found the electricity, water spigots, and sewage all clean and easy to utilize.) When I arrived at 3am exhausted(and NERVOUS about my first hook up) no one was at the gate house. I sat there for 10 minutes assuming the guard had taken a bathroom break. But no one came. Then I called the number I called at reservations. It was 3am(in my reservation I had explained I would arrive after midnight. They said that was no problem) and the office was closed. There was an «emergency maintenance» number on the recording. I called it. No answer. There was a local number on the sign. I called it. It was the front desk, which was closed. I drove into the park and to the office. It was lit up brightly, which felt hopeful. But it was locked down tight, which felt disconcerting. NO watchful eyes on the park. This felt unsafe to me. I called all of the available numbers again, and again. After 45 min I left, and drove to a church to sleep. When I arrived the next morning there was somebody at the guard gate. Who laughed when I told her my experience from the night before.(I wasn’t feeling the mirth.) And when I checked in and described my experience, she gave an, «Oh yeah.» As if that was NORMAL! I asked if I could be reimbursed for the night I didn’t get to stay. She said, «No. They usually just give you credit for a free night for your next stay.» NOONEHADTHESENSETOUSETHEPHRASE, «I’m sorry.» NOONEHADTHESENSETHATHOSPITALITYTO A TRAVELERHADBEENUTTERLYLACKING. The lodging business is suppose to be prepared for NIGHT travelers. This is a foundational element of the hospitality industry from ANCIENT of days! Lol(The Christmas story with Mary & Joseph springs to mind. Lol) Read my other reviews. I’m a happy, complimentary person who enjoys life. I’m not picky. But it’s ridiculous that the safety and care of guests at a LODGING facility was so lacking when a guest needed lodging and safety most. They need to seriously overhaul their evening staff. After my initial experience, I felt a greater need than usual to be in contact with the outside world. AT&T had one bar of service here. There is wifi, but it was VERY sketchy and frustrating. I’m a runner, and the grounds looked lovely, but after my disconcerting start, I did not feel safe to go for a jog. They rent golf carts, but they must not have a «quiet hours» rule, because they sped by ALL night. The second night the music aspect of the park was in full swing. I actually enjoyed hearing the filtered music through the trees. But once the music stopped at midnight, the people of the park didn’t stop. So it was a very loud night far past midnight. If you’re a regular RVer you may look at this review and say, «That’s a regular park.» And if that’s the case, an RV vacay may not be in my best interests. Lol But, if it’s not the case, I hope management raises the quality of their teaching and training of employees. And I hope they up their«community» insight by setting 1am through dark hours as quiet time, so people can rise with the sun to enjoy the beauty of this park.

We went here for Suwanee Hulaween organized by the String Cheese Incident. It was probably one of the best music festivals I have ever seen and the venue was amazing. Very beautiful and abundant excellent camping spots. Highly recommended for anyone who loves music and camping!

I was here for the purple Hatters ball and it was absolutely amazing. It’s a great campsite and I love being able to swim in the swanee River. I’m sure I will be back for other music festivals, and possibly just to camp.
