Kiddie Academy of Little Neck

Loved kiddie academy of Little neck since 2013. I’m already sad that my son will be graduating this year from pre-​k. My daughter had the same teachers and she is academically excelling in 1^st grade. Besides the academic learning, I was able to work full time knowing my kids are safe and having fun.

I was first introduced to Kiddie Academy of Little Neck by my cousins. They sent their three kids there and had only great experiences and memories with the school. When my son turned 3, it was time for him to go to daycare, interact with other children and have a structured environment. I began to interview many schools in the area close to home. I went to about 4 schools and at the end, went to Kiddie Academy of Little Neck and I fell in love. I felt right and at home. I knew that this is the school I want to be part of.
If everyone is blessed with some sort of super power, it must be vision for me. I can see dust as fine as one strand by itself. When I went to the school, I noticed immediately they were clean and organized. I like the spatial layout of the school. The classrooms are interconnected in a system where teachers can overlook their neighboring classroom and kids. All the classes are monitored by the supervisors with cameras and if you need to speak to your child while you’re at work, it can be arranged.
I like the food that they provide to the kids. They always mix in some type of vegetables and fruits daily. The school provides a detail report about what they ate each day. My son loves cauliflower… and I don’t cook it at home so he gets his cauliflower from K/​A. They have a good variety of foods and snacks.
Most of all, I love the teachers, administrators and staff. They all love working with children, genuinely. My son has learned so much from all his teachers. He comes home and talks to me and I notice words or phrases that I didn’t teach him. His vocabulary and social skills have developed entirely at K/​A. All the teachers at K/​A know all the students, even if they are not their direct teachers, they all take care of the children. It’s a small setting and everyone becomes like family. I am going to miss being part of this school when my son graduates Pre-​K this spring. I will definitely be back to donate some books to the shared library.

My son loves his day care. He is 2 years and half. The teachers in the daycare really care about the kids over there. They check diapers every hour. They always play with kids. My son wasn’t able to speak before he started day care here. And his previous daycare teacher always complains about his not following instructions. But in this day care, he is totally a different kid. He learned follow instructions, he learned speak. And he loves his teachers and classmates. I am so happy we found kiddie for my son.

My 2 kids love little neck kiddie academy. My daughter who graduated prek past June really wanted to stop by the school and say «Hi» to her old teachers. And my son who still goes there loves school so much, he couldn’t wait to go back in September.

As all the restaurants and medical offices, when there’s a «owner» in the place, you know places efficiently Run. Gloria is always there. last one to go home. I pick up 6:00
I was also a teacher, so I know that teachers may miss the scratch your child has. Or know how he/​she may have gotten it but they are teachers not one-​on-​one babysitter…
last year my son came home with scratch in his arm and when I spoke to the teachers, they were receptive to my questions and concerns.
academically, kiddie academy is well run chain [nationally] of school. so they are on top of what is being taught (that’s why I chose this school) my daughter was tested for 1^st grade level reading and writing level at the end of prek.
Mostly, the teachers and everyone really care about your kids…

Our children have been going to Kiddie Academy for about 1−½ years. I can’t say enough positive things about it. They are caring and compassionate– every child is encouraged to be themselves. The teachers, director, and asst. director take an active role in the growth and development of the children. My oldest daughter graduated from Pre-​K last June and my youngest daughter starts this fall– can’t wait! We truly feel like a part of a loving family– having this type of relationship gives me comfort everyday, knowing that my children are loved, cared for how I care for them myself, and always learning– all while having fun!

We love Kiddie Academy, we sent our child here after she turned 2 years old. She graduated Pre K this past June and stayed through most the summer. The place is very clean and the teachers are very good with kids. Overall, the staff is very friendly and accommodating.
