You guys made my dog bleed non stop and had to take her to the emergency room and then when I call you say «sorry no can help» you are filthy animals and disgust me ! I will make sure no one I know uses your service !

I have been taking my dog here for 3 years now because they are open on Saturday. Not anymore. After taking my dog home this Saturday, she developed a skin infection all over her body. She itches to the point where her entire body is bleeding (something that we have had no problem with for the past 8 years of her life). When i came home Tuesday night, my dog was literally bleeding all over her body and I had to take her to the vet at 10 PM. $ 350 later, she is recovering from a skin infection caused by the clippers. I understand that dogs sometimes move during the procedure, but if you have clean cutting tools, this would have never happened. Honestly, I am not surprised based on the other reviews that are on here. I called to talk to them about what they can do, the manager said she would call back shortly, and they never did.
Last time I will come here, and expect a bill for my dogs doctor. If there is no compensation, I will make sure I am compensated for.

Terrible. Disgusting. Defined traumatized my dog. My dog came back hairless when i told them to only trim! They cut her private part as well. They should be shut down. Animal abusers

I have been coming to doggy doggy for four years, and love them. I have taken my dogs to many groomers, but none like doggy doggy. They truly do a wonderful job, seeing as I am very particular in my dogs grooming, they are by far the best. They listen to exactly what I want and get it done. My dog had a bad experience elsewhere and was afraid of groomers and wasn’t the best to groom due to chaotic movements out of fear, but with doggy doggy, he prances right in happily. I understand that people have bad experiences but quite frankly, I have been blessed to have none. I bring 4 Shih Tzus and couldn’t be happier. They let me know when my dog has a rash, or ear infection as my breed is known for that, never do the push any products on me, and no they don’t cause them, because I am well aware of the issues prior to bringing my dog in, if any of my dogs have issues. The call to confirm appointment, they accommodate when I make last minute appointment, they call with ample time for me to pick up my kids, they are always friendly and the always have their previous cuts on file. I am truly pleased with them and recommend them to anyone who truly cares about their dog. They serve many people, and when people get good service they forget to write a review, so of course the bad ones on here where unpredictable and quite frankly dogs aren’t always manageable nor can u make precautions for sudden movements when grooming so the incidents that occurred are normal in grooming facilities. If they only have a handful of bad reviews when serving thousand of returning customers they must do an amazing job, as in no one can please everyone !!! :)

This might not be that good of a review but 7 years ago we got a cute Yorkshire terrier from such store. The dog was adorable and while getting her the girl who worked their kept looking at the female dogs genetalia, we wondered why however we said nothing. We asked her about some skin bumps that looked like a rash around the genetalia and around her skin, the girl said it was nothing and just a reaction to the food. Turns out the next two weeks we found out the dog had a skin fungus and it was able to spread to humans as well. We sadly had to give the dog up to an animal hospital and have been scarred ever since.

Came here with the girlfriend who bought her dog from here. Before we came here, I was curious about the reviews. I was pretty shocked to see so many negative reviews as this place and the people there were pretty nice and professional. They wrote everything down regarding the haircut style and double checked with her. They finished within 1.5 hours. Dog looked great, no swollen paws, red eyes, like some of you experienced. Anyways no complaints here.
I would add too that the owners do a very thorough job via signage on the display windows about the age of puppies and what they do to make sure you’re getting a healthy dog.

Since posting my last review, they’ve added toys and water to the window dogs’ pen. I don’t know if this is a coincidence or not, but I’m pleased at the progress.

they get the job done within 2 – 3 hours. almost always satisfied. been going here for a few years now too. i will continue as long as the prices don’t reach my limit on grooming.

I use to be very happy with this place until my last dog grooming visit. I even purchased my dog from here too…
Usually they were good, BUT, I say BUT Be careful because I’ve been going for 6 years never had any major issues maybe minor haircut issues where I didn’t like it…
until recently …
just went on Monday for my dog to get groomed and they cut my dogs private part! (Female dog) Shaved her butt too high (just a Minor issue compared to the next issue) and gave my dog an eye infection. Yes an eye infection!
She came home with her left eye watery, I thought nothing of it because she is a poodle and her eyes get watery sometimes. an hour later I go home to check on my dog and the first thing she does when she sees me is Unilocal for help and starts to move her paw over her eye telling me something is wrong. I look at it and it had swollen up and was very red and irritated.
First thing They denied the eye infection was from them, not even saying we r sorry this happened, but I had to break it down in common sense for them.
I said to them how can it be my fault if you were in care of my dog, I picked her up and didn’t go anywhere but to my home. I’ve had the dog for 6 yrs and never had an eye infection before. How can this be my fault? (Technically I guess it is cause I used them as a groomer… Hahah jk) She went from your care to my care and then straight home.
They didn’t have an answer but can u call us back in a few days to let us know how she is doing. (I guess they wanted to see if I was going to bring a lawsuit on them) I told them if it didn’t get better in a few days that remember this call because if I show up with a vet bill they are paying for it.
I want to believe it won’t happen again but the way they handle the situation, and saying we will note not to use that groomer again is horrible. Customer service is lacking here. Jessica or Jennifer was polite and nice and thank you but they lack customer service. I got the feeling they r fake there and really don’t care. They are just a business.
I will be looking for a better groomer who actually cares for the dogs. Not saying they don’t but the sympathy or non true sympathy they gave for hurting my dog is unacceptable.

my go to shop for my dog’s grooming. the people are really friendly and let my dog get a hair cut even though it was close to closing. thank you!

They have pretty good prices for grooming but they sneak in extra fees. I showed up a few minutes late to pick up my clean pet and they insisted on hitting me with a 4 hour fee. They also have a bit of an attitude at the front desk which I was always willing to overlook-​until these fees were applied… I prefer using one of other groomers now.

I’ve been bringing my dog here for grooming the last 2 – 3 years and I haven’t had any trouble at all. Their staff has fulfilled all my requests on how I would like to have my dog’s hair cut. When I ask questions related to pet grooming and maintenance, staff is knowledgeable and able to give a proper response.
It’s pretty easy to get an appointment– I generally call the day before or two days before. I can only bring my dog on the weekends so given the time frame, they are usually able to accommodate. Whenever I come in, the staff is friendly and always greets customers as they come in (from what I have personally observed).

Took my dog here a while ago for boarding. While at it my dog got a haircut. Not only the haircut was terrible but my dog also got a serious infection on his paws. All paws were swollen. I gave my dog a day to see if he will get better but no. The next day his paws were bleeding, so I had to take him to the vet.
My dog was on med for 2 weeks. It killed me to see my dog in pain! I have no idea what did they do to my dog.

this place sucks as hell. the workers think theyre vets trying to convince that your dog is sick and try to make you buy stuff that you dont need. there are not much of things to buy anyway. very rude in judging your dog. probably a place where you just groom and take care of your dog, i havent got much to say about that cuz ive never had my dog to come here — im glad i didnt, the reviews others left speak for themselves

They gave me my dog back with a spot of singed hair and skin and tried to play it off as a severe ear infection, and when I brought my dog to the vet immediately after picking her up from groomer the Vet said she had no ear infection and the spot below her ear was in-​fact a burn!
I like to consider myself a fair person of competent and sane thought, all you have to $%^king do is tell me «Hey, we burned your dog on accident, here’s a free bag of treats for your pain and suffering OR next grooming on us…» were then I would have answered «I appreciate the gesture, but you will never see me or my dog again and keep your free food/grooming…[storm out]»
Point is this own up to it, it happens and yes the pet owner will be pissed (and for good reason) don’t try and pass it off as something else, that is rude and frankly pathetic on so many different levels.
This place should be shut down not only for their shitty grooming or shitty management but also for their piss poor morals and ethics, DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE, READ THE REVIEWS… UNFORTUNATELY THIS SEEMS TO BE A RECURRING ISSUE HERE OF POOR CARETAKING AND DUE DILIGENCE!!!

Best place to purchase puppies! I bought all my three dogs from here: two Maltese and Dachshund. Amongst all the pet stores I’ve been to, their quality of breeds are the highest. All puppies are registered with ACA. The pups are super tiny & cute and the facility is clean/​free of odor as compared to all the other pet stores I’ve visited. The purchase comes with the first set of shots, free first doctor’s visit, and 14 days of free medication if the puppy comes home sick (i.e. kennel cough or ringworm).
Although it is a bit pricey, you get what you pay for! If I’m going to have a dog that’s going to be a part of my life for over 10 years, I’m all for the quality,

If you love your dog, you will NOT want to take them here for grooming.
I took my Shihtzu here when he was just a puppy for a grooming and the first two times there were nice. The staff greeted my dog and I nicely and the cut came out very cute. Then, upon my third return, I noticed red scratches on my pup’s belly. When I confronted them, they assured me that this was common and that sometimes it happens to long hair dogs because of the pulling. As a first time dog owner, I trusted their expertise, but kept my skepticism. I returned once more afterwards just to give the place a fair chance and when I went to pick up my puppy, his eyes were blood shot red. I angrily asked the owner what happened and he once again told me that this is common for dogs who are nervous and anxious to be in cages, which even as a first time dog owner, knew better. After few minutes of arguing, the groomer came out and claimed that my pup was disobedient and that they had «TIGHTLY» secure his collar, and that maybe by doing so, had caused blood vessels in his eyes to pop. The owner apologized frantically but his apology was unaccepted as this kind of abuse should NOT have happened in the first place. Now, 3 years later, my traumatized dog has a tough time being groomed. It took me, and a real groomer from Petco, 6 months to get my dog back to a calm state where he doesn’t freak out when being approached for grooming.
This Place Ought To Be Shut Down!!!

I don’t write reviews often, but I had to write one for Doggy Doggy after my experience today.
I bought my baby Yorkie here three years ago so I went back to Doggy Doggy to get her hair cuts even though I live 20 – 25 minutes away.
I don’t know what it is with the workers here, but they have a problem with listening. I even spoke to them in korean and specifically told them what I wanted. I asked for a summer cut with her ears and tail hair cut as well, but of course after three hours, I go to pick her up and they only cut her body hair off leaving her with long ear hair and tail hair. This is the third time this has happened and I would have to ask them to cut more of it off, waiting longer at the store to finish.
They don’t write down what you ask either which obviously must be the problem. After the third time, I’m going to find a new groomer.
The only reason I gave it two out of 5 stars is because their store is clean and has cute toys.

Doggy Doggy is not the place you want to bring your dog.
On multiple occasions our Yorkie has been cut, inside her ears and on her anus. After the first time where she was cut on her ear we complained and eventually after rolling her eyes at us, we talked to the manager who assured us that future experiences were different and they were sorry for the damage caused. She did not offer any compensation.
The ear, of course, got infected and cost us a neat bill.
On our last visit we gave very specific instructions, we wanted hear ears to be pointed up so the outside should be cut, cut around her eyes so her hair didnt get in them, etc.
The staff did not write this information down, we asked if they should but we were waved away. We told them that the last time our dog was here they cut her, again waved away and the two girls behind the counter spoke to eachother in korean and giggled.
When we got our yorkie back this time not only did they not follow any instructions we gave them (her ears were down and the outside was not cut, and her hair was still in her eyes) they had again cut the inside of her ears and this time cut her anus.
When we went back to the store the manager sighed heavily and told us she was busy. We asked the staff behind the counter if they could explain why our dog was being cut multiple times, they didnt want to speak to us.
We waited for the manager to finish being busy, after she saw us sitting waiting for her for 15 minutes she got her jacket and left.
For the next 2 weeks our dog was scooting and trying to bite at the cut, which became infected.
We will not be returning.
