Just read a comment saying«they are never open» and this is not true! I go there almost every day to get my coffee before my shift at work and during the summer and school year I spend most my time there! This place is great for a lunch date, or to sit down and study or to enjoy some time for your family. Great little place in such a nice area. Love it!

Place is barely open in the summer and closes from fall to spring. And they dont even make the ice cream. Better off going to Price Chopper and buying a gallon of Edy’s or Friendly’s.

Best ice cream I have ever had! You need to try the peanut butter caramel cookie dough. Service was great. You will be glad you stopped.

There is something uniquely special & quaint about Olé Sal’s. The food & drinks are absolutely amazing & the staff are very friendly & accommodating. This is my favorite place to visit when I head back home up North. There are two large stone antique buildings next to each other & Olé Sal’s is on the first floor of the first building. You can certainly make a quality day of antique shopping with a delicious lunch & then finish your day off with a fresh coffee & some yummy ice cream! The menu is limited, but everything is fresh & made with quality. If you travel to Little Falls or anywhere in Herkimer County, I recommend that you make a special trip here. :)

Service was very friendly and helpful. The soups were decent, maybe 3 stars. The grilled cheese was delightful. The brownies and fruit smoothies were amazing. Easily made the visit worth it. Wonderful environment as well — antiques and other things to browse while we waited. One note — gets a little busy at 12 with the lunch rush, but nothing outrageous.

Stopped in for a quick dinner, and service was fantastic. I got a warm welcome and lots of info about the town while I waited for a very nice toasted turkey sandwich and spicy cajun potato soup. Highly recommended!

My girlfriend and I were staying in Little Falls during a recent trip to Cooperstown. We stopped into Olé Sal’s for some ice cream one night. The owner was so friendly. He encouraged us to try a few flavors before we made our choice(it was hard since they were all good). We returned the next day for a soup and sandwich dinner which was equally delicious. The atmosphere is fun and unique. We hope to have to chance to visit again soon.

Olé Sal’s Café and Creamery is located inside the Stone Mill building at the Canal Place in Little Falls. The café is located in a large main room, mostly with antique dealers, near the front entrance of the building. The café serves a fair number of coffees, along with ice creams and pies. I decided to order some hard ice cream, and then sat down in the seating area(which features a few tables, chairs and a couple of couches). Service was prompt, there are some reasonable and unique choices for ice cream as well.
