Let me start with– incredible pizza. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Menu is a bit small but the specials blow you away! Great atmosphere; a very small restaurant with all the tables surrounding a wood burning pizza oven, super warm and cozy. 5 stars!!!

Seriously the best pizza I’ve ever had! But their hours stink! But so worth the wait! And there is always a wait but I can’t blame them for that!

The pizzas are excellent but something must be done about the call ahead system. I realize it’s a small place surely there must be a way to improve it.

My recent experience at my beloved Bivio left a very bad taste in my mouth and extremely disappointed. For years I was told that reservations could not be made and it’s first come, first serve. My wife and I came for dinner on a Wednesday night and there was three tables available, yet I was told 45 minute wait. Apparently they were«holding» the tables for people that called ahead? Wow, sounds like a reservation to me. Huge letdown Bivio… I’m afraid our hidden gem has finally become too big for their britches.

The food is excellent. The staff is warm and competent. Plenty of parking in the area. It’s a very abbreviated menu, and everything on it is completely dialed in. It’s one of those secret places with only a few tables. If you can get in, I highly recommend checking out Bivio.

As an Italian American, perfect pizza is a must. These specialty pies are exactly what you need to get an authentic Napoleon feel. I’ve been here with my boyfriend, my family, and my girl friends and I have never been disappointed!

This little gem is our new go to place for dinner. The pizza is out of this world. The owners are the most wonderful people, they talk to everyone that sits down in their restaurant. They make you feel like family. I love that their menu is simple. The owner makes all the pizzas himself and he is the best :)

Ate there last evening for the first time. Friends who are regulars brought us. OUTSTANDING. Had the arugula salad and order of stuffed pork with pine nuts to start. Three special pizzas to finish including one with Meyer lemons. Insanely good. Cute place, great staff and an owner that cares. Enjoy.

I was in town visiting friends from college. Apparently they come here all the time. I am now insanely jealous that they get to. Holy cow. So delicious. I had some sort of special they were offering(mozzarella, lemon, and some sort of sausage or bacon). If I could eat that pizza every day I would be so happy. The place is really cute and the staff is wonderful. I’m dreaming about going back for more of this pizza.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! The staff and owner are fantastic. The pizza is incredible. I could sit down and eat the dough by itself with no toppings and still be satisfied. We split a salad and had all of the special pies. Perfetto!!!

To call this restaurant a «pizza place» would be a terrible representation of their gourmet food. I’m not sure if he does this frequently… but the chef/owner of Bivio came to greet my party and I while we were waiting to be seated. He was incredibly friendly and described his menu in detail(which of course furthered our hunger). He explained how fresh all of his ingredients are which, I absolutely believe after my meal. His menu is deliciously creative and worth the wait. Excellent service and comforting food. Definitely a must-visit.

This place is in the conversation for best pizza in the area. Artisinal style almost personal sized pizzas are topped with high quality fresh ingredients. Sounds like a recipe for success. This is probably my #3 and my wifes #2. Definitely one of the better places in the region.

My 1 star rating is based on the owners and their rules. They don’t take reservations except for parties greater than four, but will put your name on a wait list, which they advise doesn’t guarantee a table. I was there last night at 6:30 and wanted a table for 2 and there was one available. The hostess, Pat, said that the table was being held for customers who went to the liquor store to get wine. I am a regular customer, yet she’s holding a table for obviously new customers(since they didn’t know it was a BYOB). Congratulations Pat on losing a weekly customer. Are you catering to only new customers? Besides this experience, I’ve seen the chef/owner berate the kitchen staff. Perhaps they did need discipline, but it didn’t have to be in front of customers. It’s a shame this is such a poorly run business because the pizza and wait staff are excellent. It seems Tomasao is a dictator and everyone, including his wife, seems afraid to step out of line and break his rules. I get that he doesn’t want to be just another pizzeria, but the vibe that he creates in the restaurant is why I will never go back. The pizza, itself, is very thoughtful. The only pie I’ve had that didn’t make sense to me is the Porcini pizza. It is a standard menu item and the flavors aren’t complimentary to my palette. The salads are boring and seem to have been an after thought. I’ve tried many appetizers and I recommend not wasting your time or appetite on them. I will miss the pizza, but it isn’t worth the hassle.

We came here on a whim one night during Winter after having previously reading the menu several months beforehand. My Fiancé was in the mood for some sort of Antipasto, and I recalled them having a dish of Italian meats and cheeses for an appetizer. Holy crap am I glad we came here. After that first visit, we made it a regular almost weekly visit. Unfortunately we moved out of LF, and haven’t visited in a while. Ambiance — 4 Stars — It’s small, can be a bit loud if there’s a rowdy crowd, also a bit warm if you’re sitting by the oven. The décor is nice, and the overall«feel» is very warm and comfortable. It holds around 30 people at max. If you’re here on a Friday/Saturday, it will definitely be crowded and you will wait for a table. Service — 3 Stars — Service is slow. There’s no doubt about it. Generally they only have around 2 to a max of 3 servers in the restaurant. For some reason it will take 5 minutes or more to get a drink. The servers are very friendly though, and eventually they all knew us. Jackie and Tomaso, the owners, are lovely hosts. We spent many evenings talking with them. Food — 5+ Stars — Wow! I don’t even know where to begin with their food. The menu is short, and there are not a lot of options. But who cares. Everything is made fresh in house. Tom arrives early in the morning to start preparing the evenings dishes. He even comes in on close days to bake the bread in the Pizza oven after it has cooled down the next day. They have a variety of nightly specials, which generally rotate. We would normally get one of the special appetizers(Meatballs, braciole, manicotti, etc), and one or two of the nightly Pizza specials. The appetizers are always great. The meatballs are awesome, almost as good as my own(sorry Tom ;)!). Braciole is also delicious. The sauce is pretty decent, I usually judge an Italian restaurants overall quality by their sauce. Definitely good quality tomatoes used, he lets them speak for themselves. Very lightly spiced. The pizza is simply, perfect. The dough is delicious, crispy on the outside — soft and chewy on the inside. It can be a –little– salty at times, but that’s also what makes the dough delicious to eat without anything on it! There are 2 nightly pizza specials. Always delicious. The most flavor I have EVER experienced on a pizza. Many different flavors which you don’t normally expect on a pizza. Every ingredient he puts on a single pizza work together in wonderful complementing harmony. I’ve never had greens on a Pizza, but any of them with arugula on them have been divine. Desserts are all delicious — Tiaramisu is a must. The canoli is pretty good, I have had better though. Cost — 5 Stars — Even though pizzas may be considered small for the price, the ingredients and overall quality absolutely justify the price. If you have a chance, definitely visit Bivio Pizza. Make sure you get there early, or on one of the non-weekend days. No take out though!

We have been here a several times and Bivio has always been consistent. I actually like the small menu, it means everything is always fresh and the food is always well prepared. The choices are the right portion size and delicious(except the lemon pizza?!). The other consistency is the fact that the wait to get your food can feel interminable. The last time we went we were able to make reservations as we had 6 people. It took well over an hour to get our pizza from the time we ordered(we did get appetizers about 25 minutes after we ordered). This is far too long to wait even if it were Keste(where the wait is only about 30 minutes tops). We don’t fare much better when it is just the two of us as we have waited almost as long for the same items. As a former restaurant owner nothing makes me crazier than a long wait for anything, let alone my food. I am willing to alter my review if service improves but it seems like there is no real sense of urgency there.

This was my first time here. My overall experience was positive, however I do have some minor bones to pick. They sell fresh artisan bread, but don’t give you any complementary bread. The music is all over the place. One minute you feel like you could be in Italy, the next in India or China. The menu is very, very small. In fact, I can count the number of items. There is one, very plain salad offered as an appetizer, an antipasto, and five different kind of pizzas. They also offered us about four or five specials. I went here with 3 other people and we shared everything so I can attest for pretty much the whole menu. The wait time for the appetizers was about 20 minutes. There was nothing particularly special about the special salad. The antipasto was pretty small, but the pizza was excellent. Because my party wanted a taste of 4 out of the 5 pizzas offered, the chef approached our table and offered to serve us two at a time. I was impressed he took that initiative and for that, I give him props. For dessert, I had a really hard time trying to like the cannoli and the espresso. It’s almost as if I got a half shot of espresso finished with a bunch of grinds. The cannoli shell was as hard as a rock and the cream contained soft chocolate chips, which was different but I was okay with it.(As a side note, my party and I had a disagreement over whether the cannoli was good. Perhaps I just prefer a softer shell). The biscotti was okay and the lemon cheesecake was surprisingly light. Overall, a very small, but cozy place with reasonable prices, BYOB, and a friendly staff. As a heads up, the place is kind of small. The restaurant only seats about 20 – 30 people so be prepared to wait. We waited about 45 minutes, but that was at 7:30 on a Friday night and we were given an accurate wait time.
