Arby’s

Typically a good place to eat. That’s if you don’t have a large order. Went their for a large order for 25 classic sandwiches for our family’s dinner (also had fries, and drinks too). I usually don’t have a problem with this location until recently. Got home and started dishing out the sandwiches, fries, and drinks. When I grabbed my sandwich, I noticed it felt a bit light. I had worked for Arby’s in the past, so I knew the weights of their products. I took out my own scale to weigh a couple of sandwiches out. They were 1.7 ounces on average. Called to complain about the underweight sandwiches and was simply asking for a remake, since I paid for classics and not juniors. The manager that answered the phone had no clue like he knew what he was doing. The employee that handed out the order was on the phone, and he admitted that the order felt light, but didn’t step up to make it right. The general manager argued, saying to expect that much loss in weight and that he personally weighed each out at 2.5 ounces. This is still underweight by company standards! Was told that I can either deal with it, or return the remaining food for a refund. I will not be going back to there, as this is unacceptable and inappropriate for managers to act. This is not the belief system that Arby’s has to make things right. Now, thanks to the incompetence and rudeness, I had to come up with another dinner option. It’s sad when the one time a month you decide to eat out and have to deal with such behavior and attitudes such as this. My advice is to learn what all is supposed to come on a product and learn the weights. If you are unsure, you can always ask one of the employees. Don’t second guess yourself when you think your sandwich might be underweight, as it very well could be!

As far as fast food goes, I enjoy Arby’s. I like that I don’t feel like I’m about to die after I eat their food. The service is fast and the people that work there aren’t idiots (yay!). For that on the go lunch, this Arby’s is a good choice.
