I’ve always had an eye for beautiful glass and I never pass up a chance to ogle and awe this amazing form of art. I’ve stopped into each and every glass museum I could in my travels throughout Europe, the islands and the United States. I’m in Lititz looking for chocolate and pretzel factories, but this place is what really caught my eye. The front windows are strung with beautiful glass balls and sun catchers and DJ catchers, oh I just had to stop. Entering into a glass filled heaven with plenty of floor space for the clumsy dudes following you to make sure you do not spend too much money, you will find the collections of many North American handmade glass artists. Gorgeous glass jewelry, beads, vases, paperweights, balls and stars. Small and colorful glass surrounded desk clocks, candy dishes that you may never dream of putting candy in and lamps that you will keep away from the leaping cat. The gallery is very large and has an open area where you can watch them flaming glass, making jewelry and it is also where they hold work shops with featured artists from around the country, for those that want to learn the art. The couple started out by selling Tiffany foiled Moravian stars and have expanded over the years with their love and interest in hot glass. My house may not glisten and shine from being sparkling clean, but the beautiful and colorful glass sure helps! Wheelchair accessible.
