Really nice selection and the prices seemed fair to me. A good selection of the primitive stuff I love and a large enough store I was kept busy for a while. I will definitely go back. I was not aware of a discount given at the restaurant if you purchase something at their antique shop because we did eat there after antiquing. But I did get the customary 10% off on an item over twenty dollars if you pay check or cash, that most antique shops I’ve been to have given.

First, in the 21st century, who still smokes? The guy at the cash register of Brickerville Antiques that’s who. He wasn’t smoking inside but the stench of smoke coming off his clothes smacks you in the face as soon as you walk in. I know its an antique shop and dust is part of the game but must we have stinky smoke too? Moving on… interesting range of stuff. Linens, vintage jewelry, knick knacks, not much furniture, paintings, more knick knacks. This is my kind of store. Be careful to know your prices before you go in because some things were a deal, other things were priced at Kovel’s retail price, and some things were a little high. If you know what you’re looking at, you can score a deal. I bought an oil painting for my mom as an early Mother’s day gift and I chose a vintage lapel pin for myself. They also had some Victorian postcards. Overall, a good place worth exploring. If you keep your receipt you can get a discount in the restaurant next door. Lots of people love the restaurant but my mom and I have the opinion of «Eh.» We know of other places with better food but if you want plain country cooking, give it a whirl.
