The food taste more like an american is cooking doesnt have that taste like most Caribbean restaurants have. When my family came from Jamaica and i bought them food from there they didnt like it at all so i knew it wasnt just me. The staff is friendly and its a clean place never had a bad experience there. Its just a particular taste you look for with Caribbean food and i just didnt find it there. Some people like it so they might specialize in certain dishes.

Excellent!!! The food was great. There was not a long wait and very friendly service. Huge portion for the price. I will definitely be back!

I absolutely love their food… The young man is very nice and will give you a little extra if you ask without charge. Sorry they closed the one on Redan Rd…

This place is better than any Caribbean offerings in my hometown Dallas. It’s not so good that I will not continue my search for the best Jamaican food though.

I’ve been to this place a few times and the food is always good. This is a place I would recommend for good, authentic Jamaican food. The prices are reasonable and the rice and peas are some of the best I’ve had. The only disappointment about the place is that they may not have an item available that is on the menu from time to time. Other than that, I have no complaints

As a partial Jamaican, I give this place 2 thumbs up for their patties. They’re actually 99 cents on Tuesday(for the beef patty only). My mum and dad, don’t care for this place too much in terms of entrée. The woman who works their can often have an attitude, but she gets nicer the more you go. The guys are always pretty nice. I wish they had all the patties for 99 cents on Tuesday and not just beef. Atleast have veggie and beef for sale. The price of their drinks are a little high, but that’s all Jamaican restaurants… just in case you didn’t know Krogers has all the Jamaican soft drinks for just 99 cents…(50 cents less than them). Oh and watch out for the guy who lingers in front of the store and tries to sell you DVDs and CDs… he can be annoying.
