Jack in the Box

We ordered from drive up. Two got tacos. One got chicken nuggets. I got a hamburger with food poisoning. I have been incredibly sick today. Everyone else is fine.

I haven’t been to one of these in forty years. The sandwich was dynamite and what’s more is the lettuce was picture perfect the whole sandwich was eye candy like I had a prop sandwich for a commercial they were about to tape.

I came here for lunch and ordered a grilled chicken salad. It was not good at all… The greens were wilting and gross. All I ate was the chicken itself. Honestly, I should’ve known better than to order a salad in a fast food burger place. My friend had a chicken sandwich and loved it. My experience just wasn’t very good.

My buddies were in the mood for Tacos and said that Jack in the Box puts Taco Bell to shame. I had never had Tacos from Jack in the Box so I was ready to give them a try, I’m glad I did! We went through and Ordered 24 tacos which are 2 for a dollar, so it was a pretty good deal. The guy that took our order seemed to be a little shocked when we ordered 24 tacos, but it didn’t slow them down at all. The tacos we got were very good, they were a little spicy but not overly spicy, and the hardshell was closed unlike Taco Bell, so there was a limited mess. My buddy, and I ate 6 tacos each. I can now vouch that the Tacos are better than Taco Bell!

One of ththe juiciest burgers I’ve ever had in a fast food joint. Food was so good, and service even better. Pity they don’t have such in the North East, somebody needs to give McDonakfs a run for their money.

1^st place I hit when I come back to the St. Louis area: Litchfield exit off 55 for gas up and Jack in the Box Sourdough and Tacos. I sure do miss this fast food restaurant so I have to get my fill while in town.
Funny the things we miss when we move away.

Litchfield is the fastfood oasis along I-​55 between STL and Springfield. JITB here does a decent job. A bit grungy inside, but so are most of the JITBs. Food was just fine. Been here a couple of times. I like how it’s ‘bundled’ with a gas station, and it’s the nearest food and gas option to the freeway.

Jack in the box used to be in Chicago when i was a kid. Not sure what happened. I’ve been to Jack in Litchfield many times. The employees and food is great. I always get extra tacos to bring back to Chicago.

Jack in the Box as you should know, is THE BEST fast food chain (tied with In-​and-​Out) ever.
Breakfast served all day, any side item you could ever want (including but not limited to: bacon n cheddar potato wedges, fries, curly fries, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, tacos, jalapeño poppers, cookies n cream real ice cream shakes)
The ultimate cheeseburger ordered OG style (no ketchup or mustard, extra mayo onion sauce) with curly fries and a orange soda is to die for.
They told me many Chicagoans make the trip down here for some good J in the B. I can see why.
I would come down here every day if there was enough oil and time in the world.
