New to the area, I wasn’t sure what to expect for car maintenance and repairs. It turns out they were great: personable and professional, efficient, and do excellent work. If they need to keep your car overnight, they provide a loaner and keep you appraised of the work and schedule.
Feel very confident and comfortable bringing my car there.

This dealership is hands down the place to go if your shopping around for a new or used car. They treated me honestly, professionally, and respectfully. No pressure sales at all, if you like what they have: great — if you want them to special order something for you: no problem or if after looking you decide your not interested: that’s fine too, you don’t get an attitude about it. I have bought all my cars here (and had them serviced here) for the past 20 years, my family & friends also use this dealership. It’s well run, Chris & Pat do an outstanding job. I would never go anyplace else.

If you want the definition of «low-​key,» stop by Dowling Toyota! This is an extremely «old fashioned» dealer: no fancy showroom, no fast-​talking salespeople, no BS at the Service Department, and no ripoffs. These folks are real «country,» and I mean that as a compliment. I took my old Sienna to them recently for a recall, so there was no reason to have any additional work done, but I did have about 90 minutes to scope out the place. I’ve been ripped off by dealers in Hartford and Waterbury, and these folks just talk straight. Nothing fancy, and that is a GOOD thing. Even though this place is about 30 minutes from my house, I’ve found the dealer I’ll use going forward.

Worth a special trip. An auto dealer with no b.s. Fair dealing across the board. Nothing fancy, but good old-​fashioned honest dealing. A most pleasant surprise.
