This is our favorite breakfast place in town. The food is always very fresh and the staff is always super friendly! We come here as often as possible for breakfast. One of these days we will be adventurous and try lunch!

Can’t say anything about the food, though to be fair, I have heard good things… left after 20 minutes of being completely ignored by the waitstaff who spent most of their time gabbing. Don’t waste your time, go 2 seconds down the road to Charlene’s.

Good amount of food for the price. Waitress came often to check on us and refill coffee.

The food is okay but a lot of my visits consisted of getting cold food. Only one of the servers is really all that nice. I always felt like I was getting pushed out the door. You pay $ 2 for a cup of coffee and they only give you one refill. Not a bad restaurant but not my first choice.

My favorite breakfast spot. Fresh baked bread and the best home fries. Service is the best you’ll find anywhere. Great waitresses and never empty coffee cup.

I live very close — So for something quick when you don’t feel like making breakfast it’s nice. It is your normal local diner feel place to go. It has been hit or miss for me. I have had the lumberjack breakfast that is only $ 7(2 eggs, home fries, 2 slices of toast, 2 slices of bacon, 2 sausages, and a pancake). The pancake is my favorite. It has always been light and fluffy. There has been times with the home fries have been burned/cold. There has been times the bacon has been over done and toast is way to toasted. The service is good even when it is very busy. So I hadn’t gone in awhile. I just went back a few weeks ago to try again. The food was PERFECT! Best I have ever had from there. Maybe a new chef?

Went there after bicentennial parade. It took forever to get food. Then when we finally got it, the hash browns were black, burnt beyond recognission. My omelet was so cold, the cheese hadn’t even melted. I will not go again.

Great food and excellent service. Went there with the family and everyone had a great time. The menu is extensive and every item that we ordered was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend this place if you are in the Foxwoods area. Thank you.

Awesome place to come for breakfast. Very cozy and the wait staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is delicious. This place is always busy with local people so that should tell you something. My wife and I come here often.

Four of my friends and I went on a trip to Foxwoods for a celebration and the morning after we in need of some good home cooking from a real Connecticut diner. This place was perfect. Carol and Carol took good care of all of us. The food was just like mom used to make(maybe even better!). We felt instantly at home and like a part if a family here. It was even BYOB after 11:30! Breakfast all day was clutch. I would highly recommend this diner to anyone looking for a good place to get a good meal from good people.

Believe me when I tell you I am a very easy rater and we seemed to have a lot of luck with these little out of the way diners. With that being said, Just Breakfast gets a 3. It was lunch and I had a Ruben Sandwich and my wife had a Turkey Panini. The Ruben looked ok and tasted ok — — nothing special. The Panini was not really a Panini — — it was served on a hard roll and no grill marks. We are not sure how they prepared it. Not only that, it came with potato chips — — I should say potato crumbs — — they were broken chips from the bottom of the bag. Maybe breakfast is better — — but we took a chance on lunch.

I have lived less than a mile from this place and never stopped in. After reading the reviews on Unilocal I finally decided to give it a try. I am very glad I did. The staff was so friendly, the place was very clean and most importantly the food was delicious(I ordered an omelet amd home fries) and the coffee was hot and fresh! The service was not incredibly fast but they were busy and i wasnt in a hurry. Everything is made to order so i am ok with waiting for my food. I will be going back frequently. They have just earned themselves another regular.

Great Place for breakfast :) Food doesn’t taste greasy, like some local breakfast places… Service is fast & food is good! Don’t forget to check out their daily specials… ~ My son loves their ‘Mickey mouse’ pancakes.(ask for whipped cream)

Nice little place with very attentive service and good food. No complaints at all we had a good breakfast and the waitress was there whenever we might need her she kept her eye on us and if we even looked like we needed something she was there to ask what it was we needed

Me and the my family eat breakfast here at least once almost every weekend. Their omletts are great, no matter what you have them put in them. I also enjoy the pancakes, always nice and fluffy. We have also stopped in for dinner on Friday nights. The turkey pannini sandwich is great. So is the fisherman’s platter and the burgers too. Overall a great little hometown diner.

Well isn’t this place just so cute! It doesn’t look like much. A small and tidy diner that sells, breakfast, lunch, and dessert only(closing at 2pm). But I found the place quite nice. Daily specials and the normal fare… eggs, pancakes, french toast, and anything else you might expect at a diner. Like excellent coffee that was always filled without having to ask, for instance. My friend loved the egg salad sandwich and said it was the best he ever ate. I had a 1,2,3 combo(1 egg, 2 pancakes, 3 strips of bacon). The presentation on the plate was pretty unappetizing and boring but everything on that plate tasted excellant. I also got homefries and a cheese dog on the side. I was starving, what can I say? I ended up getting fries too since the waitress made a mistake and gave me fries first before I corrected her ithe hotdog probably threw her off). The cheese-dog was awesome. The fries were fair. The home fries she brought out like a minute later(so fast) were pretty yummy but well on their way to loosing their warmth. there was a sign for Giffords Ice cream but I had already made too much a pig out of myself to even entertain the idea. Good to know though. The prices were cheap and the waitress was very good(and even charged me for the less expensive item, fries, instead of the home fries). Had an homey feel too, like this is where older locals come for breakfast and read the paper, even though it was 1pm when I was there. I say give this place a shot!
