I give this place 5 stars because it has the consistently lowest gas price among 6 service stations in a 1.5 mile stretch around the hotel row near the BWI airport. It is usually about 12 cents a gallon cheaper than the two gas stations that are the closest to the aiport on Nursery Road, about 2 cents cheaper than the ones half a mile down the street. It is the same as the Exxon across the street HOWEVER on Wednesdays, they drop their prices another 5 cents a gallon so the differential is usually up to 17 cents a gallon if you can wait till Wednesday.
There are very few gas stations around the new rental car return area of BWI. It is truly in an undeveloped part of the city (if you can believe that in the middle of Baltimore). So if you don’t want the rental car companies charging you $ 8 a gallon of gas for your unfilled tank, spend an extra 15 min and go down Nursery, past G &M crab cakes and onto this Shell… or any of the other gas stations along this stretch… which is still better than the outrageous prices at the car rental places.
