I like the scenery and atmosphere of the outside deck, but knowing that it was a «chain-like» restaurant I knew that the food wasn’t going to be organic, fresh, local, or anything like that so my expectations weren’t very high. the person I was with ordered a salad with steak on top of it, when the steak came out it was completely grey as if it was not even from a cow. I know that that cow or animal that was used for that was from a disgusting animal mill where they breed and keep the animals caged up and treat them very harsh. people shouldn’t support this type of abuse to animals, it’s much better to consume locally grown and raised animals, even if it’s a bit more expensive.

Our bartender Kristen was friendly. Kind of probably lied about things and mentioned her boyfriend in every story. The food was good and the place is nice. Is not crowded for lunch. The server Cathy was very nice and helpful.

we did take home/out in person: went to bar for a drink with my mother which was one from their specialty drink menu and they were tasty & amazing!(that is why my rating is 3stars cause the 2 stars alone was for the cocktails) food gets one star only! we ordered soup, salad, rice bowls– prices are sky high for nothing special … salads suck! rice bowls– if your picky like me i have to ask to remove certain foods i can’t eat or don’t like… rice bowl came with spanish rice, chix, peppers & onions… i cant eat onion or peppers… u had to see the portion it was like 1−2oz and they wouldn’t allow me to add anything to it but i still had to pay full price @ $ 20 for it! soup– was the same extremely small size and we ordered a large… my mom said it was about 5spoonfuls max. salads — are nothing to pay $ 18-$ 20 each for! your better off getting a bag of dole salads & grilling ur own chix breast which would cost half as much as one of their salads and u would have about 3 – 4 portion sizes meals that taste much better than their cruddy $ 20 salad … conclusion — maybe it’s only a good idea to try/go here in the summers for outdoor cocktails… or … to try thier wings? if ur a wing lover i hope at least those are good and not over priced but i couldn’t tell u? never go for anything else its a lot of money for nothing worth price and food isnt good

Water, Hurricane’s margarita and a Killian’s Red for a start and then munched on Firecracker shrimp tacos that were hot and spicy, the Tingling fish fry was just good… better fried fish out there, and I enjoyed the Fajita rice bowl with chicken and yellow rice. Slice of key lime pie was for take-out from one person. Overall, good service, TV’s seem to be all over the place. They have a full bar. The place is loud so I am more incline to think of it as a sports bar.

Looked way better from the outside. We were helped almost immediately and drinks were slim pickings unless you like alcohol, soda or «sweet» tea. I have no idea what happened to regular iced tea but this along with every place decided everyone likes sweet tea. Water is the choice I guess. Ordered wings for an appetizer and they were pretty good except the bones remained scalding hot throughout the eating process. They were hard to hold due to the continued burning process. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich which was actually worse than one from McDonald’s, it was an oversized flattened patty that didn’t fit in the bun and was able to hold the same scalding temperature as the wing bones throughout the entire time eating it. We waited a bit long between the appetizer wings and the meal but I let it slide. They weren’t that busy however. My oldest child ordered buffalo Mac and cheese and for $ 10.99 the portion was the size of a kids meal, this should be a side dish since the only real option for a side is French fries, even though there are like 5 other things on the list, none of them were even worth remembering. My middle son got a half rack of ribs and surprisingly, French fries. He said they were good. My youngest got the cheeseburger sliders from the kids menu and he got sick of them after half of one slider and half of the side of, guess what, French fries. My GF got a Cajun chicken wrap that she reports was good. So two out of five ain’t bad. Then it happened, they dropped off the check and forgot? To come back? Nothing I hate more than waiting for someone to come take my payment. I actually had to ask someone else to take it. Unfortunately for the waitress this kissed me off enough that I docked the tip. Don’t make customers wait. She wasn’t even in the room busy or something, she was literally nowhere to be found. Don’t go here unless you want to waste $ 80 on mediocre fried food.

Yummy. Thai ginger and parmigian cheese wings are a must try. Server was very attentive after our food finally came. We were a party of 10. I’d definitely come again.

My best friend and I usually go here for $ 5 Margaritas and food but lately when going we feel we are being rushed. We get a table in the bar area and start having convo and they keep coming over asking if we are ready to order food even though we tell them we are not ordering food just yet and it’s dead in the rest of the restaurant so it’s not like we are holding up a table. Plus it’s 930 – 10 at night and they close at midnight on a Friday night. No need to rush us. Food not bad usually getting a burger and fries or some wings. Fried pickles are my fav and I have to say theirs aren’t bad.

Soggy tasteless carelessly prepared bar appetizers like the fried calamari. Happy hour apps aren’t worth the $ 5 and would not repeat if it was free. Same experience on second visit tonight except wings came out practically un sauced a shame. Friendly bartender.

All the wings taste very much similar. Food is iffy at best, but the drinks at the bar are fine. I like the marguerites in the hot months of the summer while the yanks are on.

What’s the WiFi password? They say free WiFi but the bar maid didn’t understand. Plus the boneless wings suck. They are chicken mcnuggets with dipping sauce.

Hurricane is decorated in a beach/surfer theme– really cute and festive. The food here is decent. Our party had a chicken sandwich, grilled fish taco, and an entrée salad. Service was just ok and a bit slow given we had dinner here on a quiet weeknight. This place seems like it would be fun for happy hour or bar fare.

This venue has been 100 and 1 places since I moved into the neighborhood 15 years ago however it seems as though this may be the be the winning concept. However, two points of interest… Walking in the place the noticeable spelling error on the front door would have me asking for a refund from the graphic designer. It’s PREFERRED not Perferred. Secondly, the tomato side I received with my delicious shrimp dish were not cored. The service was attentive, courteous and prices reasonable. First time here… I’d come back a second time.

I have been going Hereford a few months now. Usually the food is not bad and the staff seems to be put together and attentive. This time though…, I went with a friend and I ordered a margarita(had two and didn’t feel a thing, I have a hard time believing there was any booze in there) I found a fruit fly right on top of my drink… Sitting dead on an ice cube… I pointed it out to the waiter(some young guy, dont rember his name) and I don’t remember him saying sorry, just that he would get me another drink. It’s not a huge deal, I’m aware that if u eat out, nothing is as clean as ur own house… So I’m not expecting everything to be sterile and perfect, but at least get the manager to Comp a drink or something. The waiter is ALWAYS the last line of defense… The waiter should be checking food before it Goes to the table to make sure the chef cooked it properly and is played properly, and the waiter should be checking the drinks to make sure there arnt flies and God knows what else in the drink, make sure the glass is clean… ect… Any good restaurant manager would agree… The woman shadowing my waiter even made a joke about it when they dropped off my new drink. She said«hold the fly» … Would have been funnier if they comped my drink… The staff made it seem like this was no big deal, like it happens all the time. The food was really terrible that day too… Oh and almost forgot to mention the food runner who brought me my terrible food looked out of sorts, hair coming outa her pony tail and Hangin out all over the place like she just had a wild sexcapade… She looked a mess… I know she’s not Custer facing her entire shift… But she’s delivering food to the tables… Put urself together! Not going back amymore… I used to go several times a month Bc it’s close to Home… I think it’s about time to choose a new place to eat…

My parents really like this place and took my girlfriend and I there last night. The food was good. I got Mahi tacos and also ate some jumbo buffalo wings, firecracker shrimp and lettuce wraps with everyone. The prices were decent and service was OK. The waitress had forgotten our straws and my guacamole. The person who does the bill then forgot to remove the guacamole I never got from the bill. It just seemed a little hard to get the staff’s attention. But they weren’t bad by any means. It had a Florida/beach type atmosphere. However, I prefer Duffy’s on Hoffman for my wings. Speaking of the word«preferred», it’s spelled incorrectly on the outside of the Hurricane grill on it’s door. =) lol I would go back. Good overall.

The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the plethora of TV’s in this restaurant. Not a big fan of that — personally. We shared the Hurricane Nachos as an appetizer which were very disappointing. Barely any meat on them and overall just very plain tasting. Perhaps after a few beers they may taste better. I had the Turkey Burger with the Smokey Mesquite rub and a side of the cilantro tomatoes. The run made the burger so tasty! I’d definitely eat it again. The tomatoes were boring, not at all what I expected. My dad had the beer battered fish which looked and tasted delicious. Not greasy by any means. Nice crusty exterior and wonderful flaky white fish on the inside. The service was okay. Their staff isn’t very attractive, not to sound discriminating, but I expect attractive people to work at a bar type restaurant. Or maybe I’m just used to it from Atlanta.

Decent food, good bar service. They have a good happy hour, and what sets them apart from other similar chains like Miller’s, is they have a decent seafood selection including mahi and tilapia. The cripsy fish tacos were good, but needed hot sauce. The wings were good, but really not spicy at all. We ordered the Jamaican jerk, which according to the menu, is very spicy, but had no kick at all. We also got the medium buffalo/parmesean garlic combo as suggested by the bartender who said they are very popular. Those were better, but next time I would go for hot instead of medium, because again, there was no spiciness at all. I had a local coupon, so in order to use it, I had to add something else to the order. The parmesean garlic broccoli side was probably my favorite part of the meal(that was not sarcasm, I promise you!) I ended up getting a sea salt caramel cheesecake to go, which was REALLY good. It seems they have a regular happy hour crowd who all come in at the bar and hang out, so they’re doing something right.
