Gershow Recycling of Lindenhurst

I would give no stars if I was able. The guy who answered the phone was rude, rude, rude and then ruder when I got there. Actually they need two people to handle when you recycle your scrap metal. He’s in his booth screaming at you. It would have been beneficial if they had someone outside to handle the flow. It’s an OSHA accident waiting to happen. If you have never been there before (which was me), they need someone outside. He’s in his booth screaming at customers. I had my car weighed with metal in it. Then I was told to walk it to the pile and leave the metal there. I did that and he screamed at me that’s not what I told you, now bring your car back, he weighed it again. He gave me pennies on the dollar.
I left with my metal and told him to forget it. I went to Hesh in West Babylon instead. The guy was very nice there. Explained what I needed to do and wasn’t condescending and nasty like GERSHOW. I went to Gershow because my father in law knows the owner. If GERSHOW GETS A NICER ATTENDANT, I GUARANTEE they would have more customers. The attendant at GERSHOW in Lindenhurst has a MAJOR attitude and needs to learn courtesy. GERSHOW also needs an attendant outside for safety of customers.

Ugh complete arrogance working there. Unprofessional they don’t care about your business. Last time I go there. Rude Rude Rude. I walked away and let them keep my scrap metal. Not worth dealing with the guy behind the booth. I try to do the right thing by not throwing away a bunch of metal I had.
