Primavera’s Cafe-Ristorante-Pizzeria

Great pizza! I don’t live in the area anymore but when I’m in town I make my friends order pepperoni pies from this place. Just very tasty and juicy pizza!

So let me start by saying that this is the only place that I have been able to find a half-​decent plain slice of pizza in the Linden area. I work in the area and my mission is always to find a quick bite, whats faster than a slice of pizza? I came to this place upon the recommendation of a co-worker…mistake #1. The only options they ever have for slices are plain, Sicilian (a square plain), and pepperoni (if you’re lucky). The lack of options seriously turns me off from any pizzeria. The pizza itself is so average, nothing special at all. The owner gives off such a negative vibe by his presence hovering over the register. What really set me off is their sneakiness, trying to tell me that they must add $ 1 to any credit card transactions amounting under $ 10…I used credit card processing terminals in my past, and this is completely false. There is no minimum amount required to process any transaction. The restaurant simply pays a percentage (usually 2%-5%) on any transaction swiped. Overall, the pizza is mediocre, they are sneaky, and theres no reason for me to give them my business.

Their meatballs were more like «breadballs» — very little meat or flavor in them. Take-​out container leaked out within a few minutes.

I ordered cheesesteak the first time and it was slamming. The following day I ordered Pasta but first off the Penne Vodka is over priced there are only size and its $ 13.00 then add chicken its another $ 4.00 so now for pennevodka and chicken its coming out to $ 17.00. I didnt understand there logic but I ordered instead the speg with meatballs. BIG MISTAKE. its must have had a ½ cup of water from the noodles that werent drained properly therefore now the suace is waters downed and there wasnt enought sauce to begin with. I ended with plain noodles after I drained all the water. I will not order from them again.

I have no idea why I just learned of this place — it is yummmmmy! The capellini alla sposa so good! Just enough sauce so the dish was still light and flavorful. Mozzarella sticks were great especially for take out. Small side salad was good size and yummy. Chicken Saltimbocca – delish! Only half an hour for take out on a Friday night. Not too shabby!

Great local spot, their eggplant parm sandwich is FANTASTIC! My husband loves their Shrimp Fra Diavolo. Great quality food and the employees are always nice.

Very good pizza fast with good service. I like the fact that you don’t have to give a cc over the phone. Driver swipes it for you at arrival. Seems more secure. Besides place itself is clean with a nice cozy atmosphere. Nicely divided to pizzeria on one side and fine dining on the other.

Hands down worst dinners by far that I’ve ever had from an Italian pizzeria. The penne with chicken was tasteless and made with charcoal grilled sicken in strips and the penne sauce. Yuck. I couldn’t even eat it. The gnocchi my husband had was an extremely small portion for the the cost. Both dinners were around 32 dollars or so and they don’t even give you a salad or bread? I’ll never order from here again.

I came here once for a lunch break and tried a few slices of pizza. Then one day I tried their vodka sauce pizza and ever since I was coming here at least once a month for lunch. The vodka sauce pizza is a must try at this place, no other pizzeria comes close to the amazing authentic flavor. Besides the pizza they have a wide variety of dishes that are also very good.

Used to go there with the previous place, now primavera is in and we love the pizza. Only food we had so far, worth the trip. Also happy to know that the same guy that was there before making the pizza is still there.
Surely a favorite of the family.

Very good pizza. We order from this place very often (mostly pizza), but we are never disappointed– the pizza is always good. A few times I ordered sandwiches, pasta and a salad which was good as well.

I’m from NY & I can tell you it’s really hard to find a good Pizza Place in NJ!!!
I mean you have to drive to Hoboken, NJ to get a close to NY style Pizza, anyways I found this pizzeria driving by & notice it, I mean so many times I passed by this place.lol.When I finally decided to step in the place @ the time it was own by 2 Italian Brothers from Brooklyn, I said to myself Yes! NY style Pizza! I became a regular until they sold it, Then one weekend I was hungry for Pizza & I said to myself let me see how the new owner does their Pizza? tried a slice and it was good enough for me, way better Pizza compare to others around Roselle!, Elizabeth! & Linden! especially compare to the crappy «Pizza Hut, Dominoes or Papa Johns»…
I became a regular here and I order a pies on weekends its very good!

Meh. I don’t like giving bad reviews, but I’m not a huge fan of this place. My parents love it and order from here all the time, but for me, I find it to be a little bit too doughy and the sauce just a little too sweet. Always seems a little under baked as well. Sorry primavera! :-/

Very good margarita pizza and wings. Wish this place was in my neighborhood.

We’ve ordered from here a few times in the past, but a few months back would be our last time. I had put in a pick-​up order, and gotten a hero with sopressata and prosciutto, and a ham & cheese for my girlfriend. I had to go back, since they gave me a small ham & cheese (charged me for a large), and didn’t even get an apology. Once I got home and started eating my sandwich, the sopressata was old and turning rancid. There’s a TON of Italian places in NJ to waste time here.

Really awesome pizza. Had a simple margarita pie and it was truly delicious. Thanks guy for making my dinner experience so delicious! Will def come back again

just had food delivered from there. Am not impressed with their food. i read the reviews on here, and it is the reason why i ordered from them. i look at my Receipt and my order was.

the delivery person has a chip on his shoulder. Very unfriendly when i greeted him. He didnt greet me back. He didn’t give me the right change.
The food was hospital grade. the pasta and red sauce has no flavor. it was watery and dull no hints of basil, oregano or even parsley in the sauce.
meatballs had no character or life. it was like eating unflavored ground meat.
the chicken francaise sauce was good. but the portion was small. it was like they took the half of cutlet and cut it in half.
the house salad would have been better if it wasn’t drowned with their atrocious house dressing.
garlic knot are under cooked and doughy.
over all i would never recommend this food to anyone. an inmate on death row would know this food is not good.
i have been in the restaurant and hospitality business for over 10 years. here in union county. so i have been around good food and know whats good food. this place doesn’t have it. your better off getting Italian food from a Chinese buffet

I have ordered many different dinners here and they have all been fantastic!
