Sleepy’s

We bought my son a new matters set during Labor Day, so I can’t remember the ex car salesman I had to deal with the second day when to buy it, then again to pick it up. The first guy was amazing, when I told him inexpensive, he brought me right to the back room and I knew exactly what I wanted.
I went back the next day to show my son, and to see what guy #2 would do. He took 45 minutes before I went to the back. Then he tried to charge me an extra $ 100 for a queen, that the other guy told me was the same price as the full long. The jerk even went to «look it up.» Then they had $ 5 pillows, he tried to sell m3 them for $ 25! He also tried to charge me an extra $ 50 for delivery
So when it came in, I showed up with the truck, my 6’2″ son and 3 of his football buddies! Little did I know I only needed 1 of them to carry the mattress and box spring to the truck. Almost gave the old guy a heart attack!
Remember mattresses are like cars, you never pay the sticker price!¡!

Let me just start off by saying this review is more geared towards the delivery and phone customer service crew. The salesman was nice (although not really honest) and the woman at the Lincoln store who helped me reschedule my delivery was extremely professional and nice.
That’s where the niceties stop. I was assured that I would be able to take delivery at a certain time, they arrived an hour and 45 minutes early and I wasn’t home. The person who called me was extremely demanding and somewhat rude because I wasn’t home. I tried to explain to her that they were early. She acted like they were doing me a favor!
When they finally decided to deliver my mattress (the next day) it got even worse. The delivery dudes literally threw my mattress off the truck onto the pavement before bringing it in. They dropped it at least 3 times and ripped the plastic before getting to my unit the whole time cursing in Spanish. I speak Spanish dummies.
So far the mattress ($ 1500) itself isn’t much more comfortable than the convertible I was temporarily sleeping on. If I do end up keeping the mattress that will be the last cent Sleepy’s will ever get from me.
