A friend suggested that we try Lincoln Physicians. We couldn’t happier with our care. We are always answered by a «real person» not a phone tree. If you have an urgent concern you can be seen by your doctor (if available) that day or by one of the other great doctors. Non-​urgent problems may take a day or two which is fine with us. Both my husband and I give this organization the highest of ratings. We had been long time members of Acton Medical but grew increasingly exasperated with their phone system, their bureaucracy and the requirements and strict time limits imposed on their physicians. I saw my doctor for an annual physical but rarely for any other appointment.

I have mixed reviews after 15 years with the group– I guess it depends on the doctor you have– the office/​deck house is kind of decrepit and feels a bit unprofessional.
The nurse Janice? I dealt with (British accent) was very helpful for things that could be done over the phone. Several times they called in prescripts for bladder infection or Lymes tic so that was hugely helpful. Easy to get referrals where you just leave info on the machine…
I moved about 20 miles away so am now moving on…

I love my doctor at this practice. She is extremely kind and generous. Once I ran into a possible rare cancer diagnosis-​she not only educated herself about the disease but called to check on me. While the phone staff isn’t an A+, they are no worse than many others-​all of the doctors here have been excellent and knowledgeable. I have told many of my friends about this practice. Another big plus, they take you on time, every time.

I agree with the first reviewer. I switched to a different practice and never regretted it. Also one of the receptionists who sits behind the glass when you walk in is the nastiest young lady I have met in quite a while. It makes you wonder how she has survived working there for so long.
