Ink Machine

I went to Ink Machine last spring and got my septum pierced. John, the piercing confidant, had done work on me previously at ‘Big O Tattoo’. This experience was different from the other two because it’s not Big O. I did not meet the owner of the shop, but conclude he is not a feminist. Not sure if they have covered it up since last I was there, but there were paintings of objectified women being slaughtered on the wall — quite disturbing if you’re sensitive to that, my friend refused to have work done. I ended up taking my piercing out after a few days for a number of reasons but mostly the energy of the place. John is cool, but I enjoyed going to him at the old spot. Just sayin
