My favorite in lincoln! The overall atmosphere is great. I’m from Seattle Washington so I know a good bar when I see one. They have a popcorn and nacho machine ! It’s really a dead give away when you see the girls with nacho cheese all over there face lol… Mostly all college students! They need more staff behind the bar !! It can take up to 15 minutes to get a drink if they are busy.

I enjoyed being there at Iguana, most of the people there were college kids, and several attractive looking hotties were walking around. The drink seemed to be reasonable. The waiters were courteous enough to check out how we were doing.

This is a typical college bar, albeit a decently well decorated one. The drinks aren’t bad, and the bartenders tend to do well to show off their goods to the patrons. It’s next to all fifty other bars in Lincoln, so it’s worth stopping in to hunt for some eye-​candy while you bar-​hop down the only worth-​while street in all of Lincoln.

No liberty pours and measured drinks? So what? You obviously have never tried to make money in this business. Measured pours is good policy,. Not only maximizing profits but more over, not over-serving…Which is a big deal to the liquor commission. The pours are fine by the way. Plenty of booze. I choose to come to this place out of all the other bar joints on O street because of the atmosphere and the service is great. The place gets packed and is a little on the small side but the servers still bust their asses and get drinks on the table. Copper cooling spots on each table is also an excellent touch. Great place over all and if looking to party with friends this spot is great. While school is in get there a little early if you want a table.

Not a bad place, clean and hip with some hotties usually walking around. The drinks are moderately priced and fairly decent. It gets pretty dam crowded later in the night and on the weekends. Its worth checking out.

A decent bar for Lincoln. It stretches all the way across into another bar but I can’t remember what its called. I think they have one or two pool tables and a foosball table and free popcorn! The service was timely and the bartenders were nice and prompt even though it was pretty busy there. I would definitely go back for a few more drinks, which are fairly priced. The mojito I tried was decent.

nice decent environment with enough seating for peoples; drinks same as other places… mojito is not that strong. once annoything thing is for smokers; why don’t they let them out to smoke rather than stuffing them in this iddy biddy tiny room… just let them out and let them back in how hard is that MANAGEMENT…

This used to be my favorite bar in Lincoln. I don’t know what happened. Last time I went here (April 18) the music was SO LOUD my ears were ringing. We left after one drink.
The old, good Iguanas will be greatly missed.

Don’t like it
I’ll start with the worst part: MEASURED DRINKS. This place says fuck you to the liberty poor and apparently fuck you to their bartenders getting a righteous tip. If I order a martini or a whiskey coke that comes in a pint glass I expect a little «how ya doin’ «.
Whenever I walk in this place I feel like I’m walking through one giant radio edit of life. The people tend to be filler and a little amateur. I do have friends who go here and I know they aren’t filler, I’m just making a generalization. Stereotypes rule.
The only reasons this place has two stars is because they have free popcorn, which is good for a drink; and because they sometimes have some decent drink specials. On thing to note is that this hole is connected to a place called Voda, which is basically Iguana’s for graduates.
