This is an okay place for breakfast(especially on a snow day) as the menu has lots of options and the crepes are decent. The atmosphere and preparation of food are definitely geared towards an older audience(or little kids).

Very good spot for breakfast. Clean and quick with good food. I had the sweet potato and chorizo sausage casserole, great flavor. Adi, my server, was very attentive and pleasant.

Roadside fare. Great for hungry travellers. Friendly waitress! Soup of the day chicken corn chowder was yummy! Hot crispy fries, Prime Rib dip sandwich was kind of scarce on meat, fatty and meh…

My family decided to check out Greenfield’s on a whim and I was pleasantly surprised. The prices did take us back, but this was not Perkins. The food was delicious! All of it! My husband ordered the crepes and he said they were great(Also came with fresh fruit). I ordered the Chipotle Rolls from the appetizer menu. They where fried to perfection. The kids ordered stuff off the breakfast menu and they cleaned their plates. We ordered a side of fries and those were delicious as well. Our waitress was smart and very helpful. We will definitely be returning.

I live close to Greenfield’s so it’s convenient. That said we have been there 3 times since it opened. Twice for breakfast and once for dinner. My advice is stick to breakfast and keep it simple but don’t go with high expectations for food quality or quality service. It is what it is. You can have a good day or a bad one and it’s really a 50⁄50 deal. Perhaps ask the basic… what’s the cooks best dish today? and go from there if you are adventurous.

BLAND is the only word that comes to mind.. . Service was ok, but our waitress was just not friendly; prompt, but not friendly. I had the reuben sandwich, my husband had the Prime Rib dip, Philly style, which we split, and my daughter had the cheesy pasta for kids. My reuben was ok. Very light on the sauce and kraut. As for the dip, it was not Prime Rib meat. Plus, the meat tasted so, so bland, I had no choice but to dip heavily into the au jus! I tried my daughters cheesy pasta and it had absolutely no flavor!!! covered in a fake cheese sauce that had no flavor. It came with Texas toast, which I found odd. There are only 3 dessert items, none of which appealed to me. For the kids they have a cake pop which tasted, again, odd!!! The only bright spot was the coffee. It was hot! I realize that this is a part of the da Vinci’s franchise, and that they are trying to class it up, but it fails to impress.

I have eaten here a handful of times over the course of them opening in Lincoln. Each and every time I have been less than satified. I have eaten there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Today was breakfast. The prices are way too high for what you get and the type of service you get. For breakfast you get 2 eggs, with any two sides for $ 8,49 and that doesn’t even inlcude your coffee, that is an additional $ 2.50. That is way too much for breakfast! Then you can’t get refills on coffee because the waitress never checks back with you and the other waitresses in the area only focus on their own tables instead of offering more coffee to others when they have the pot in their hand. I ordered my eggs over medium and they came out over hard and had absolutely NO flavor! The toast was not toasted it was just like bread right out of the package with very little butter. I got to overhear two waitresses get into it and watch them glare at each other because the waitress station is right there in the open. Needless to say for 3 of us to have breakfast there today for $ 38 + and the tacky wait staff our family will NOT be going back to this place again ever!

Breakfast is okay, but not great. Would not suggest ordering anything else. Service is pretty spotty. Sometimes good, but usually not. Really needs better management, incompetent, don’t care or both.

We ate here for dinner one night while in town because it was across from out hotel. The atmosphere was clean but felt outdated to me. Our waitress was nice but when we asked for local beer suggestions she simply claimed that she didn’t drink beer so she had no idea. I myself have worked at restaurants before and this is not an acceptable answer, even if you don’t drink you should know what the make up of a beer and how to describe it as well as what other customers of yours have liked in the past. We ordered the mozzarella sticks for an appetizer which were clearly frozen and reheated. My husband had the fish and chips which was decent but very bland and I had a pasta dish with cherry tomatoes and basil. It had zero flavor and I was forced to use more salt than I would normally like. The waiter station is located through the dead center of the restaurant which I am generally not a fan of because you can hear everything they say or watch them texting. I am not ignorant enough to know that these conversations/checking your phone don’t happen, we all do it! But I would rather not hear or watch.

They have some really great items for breakfast. I particularly like their sweet potato skillet meal and their pancakes are good as well. No complaints about service. Overall, a good experience and it is my go-to breakfast place.

I live about 3 minutes from Greenfields, but would rather drive 15 minutes to get good service. Their food is pretty good, when they get it right, but the service is horrible. They are more concerned with their co-workers and smoke breaks than the customers… We have tried this place probably 15 times in the past 5 years, and not once have we been satisfied when leaving or when getting our food home from a carry-out order. They always mess our order up, forget something, are out of something, the waitstaff is rude, or they don’t have a clue what they are doing(once asked for a sandwich I knew they had and the waitress had no clue what I was talking about and had to look at my menu). The outside eating area is now very nice, but won’t use because of the terrible service! We would love to be able to go here to eat and have some drinks now that they serve alcohol, however, the crappy service is too much to handle, so we will not be going back anytime soon!

I sure hope this isn’t the best breakfast in Lincoln. We had a large party for breakfast and our waitress was in attentive and they used pot pie gravy for breakfast gravy??? Huh? I would travel the extra distance for IHOP.

Great place… friendly staff. Not an overly interesting menu but solid choices. Green(pesto) eggs and ham for breakfast and The Rachael(turkey reuben) at lunch are standouts. 3 visits.

Breakfast food was average, I felt the portion sizes were on the small side. The coffee is way over-priced for average at best quality coffee.

I use to go here every once in awhile on Sunday mornings for breakfast. Mostly carry out It was good when it first opened… Then it just started to go down hill. I like the location and it is always very clean but the past few times I have gone have been a less than desirable experience. We had ordered carry out– First time our order was completely wrong and When I called to talk to someone about it all they said I needed to bring it back in… well I just drove to & from there– why would I want to go back again?! They ended up sending me a $ 5 gift card for my troubles… Well that doesn’t get you very far… Which brings me to my next experience– I decided to use the whole $ 5 gift card they sent me & placed a carry out order– When I went to go pick it up, the total seemed to be high. I looked at my receipt & saw that I had been charged $ 5 for two Iced teas. Thats $ 2.50 a piece for iced tea… I asked them why in the world it was so high and they told me that those were their dinning room prices– you get unlimited refills(unless I was going to drive back– I wasn’t going to be getting any refills) they said they didn’t have a price for ‘to go’ beverages– awesome. I feel, until I hear otherwise, that things have changed. I most likely will not be going back.

Had a family gathering breakfast here. My initial impression was it used to be an iHop maybe, but I don’t know. The décor was very nice though, and the restaurant seemed well kept and clean. I thought that our food was very good. Definitely a couple steps up from iHop or the like. They had a great selection of breakfast offerings and while the coffee is very good, a birthday breakfast toast was rather fun to have!(So was the free ‘birthday cookie’ dessert) The service was excellent, and food even better. Don’t skip the hash brown potatoes. They are amazing!

Greenfield’s is my Sunday morning breakfast stop once per year when I visit a friend in Lincoln. The menu is a bit perkinsy, for lack of a better term, but I did make an important discovery yesterday — they make crepes! In fact, buried in the bottom of the menu there is the ‘swedish combo’, with a bunch of bacon and/or sausage, eggs however you want them, hashbrowns, and crepes. I find endless toast and pancake options tiresome, so the option of crepes was rather welcome, and as a bonus, they were really quite good. The hashbrowns weren’t particularly crispy or well seasoned, but this is Nebraska, plain is the rule by and large. Decent coffee, great service, just a good — if somewhat standard midwestern — family restaurant. Try the crepes!
