Drunken Monk

I could spend soooooooooooooo much money here. Unbelievable prices on unique fun stuff. They have vases of all sizes and colors. Beautiful crystal pieces as well @ excellent prices. Clerk was very helpful and fun too.

I wasn’t overly impressed by this store, however they do have some beautiful things here. It is a good place to find a gift for someone who has everything. I just didn’t see anything unique here.

This is one of the funnest stores I’ve been in.
On a beach trip, we stopped at Safeway to get wine. Boom, right in front of us is a store we’ve never seen here, with a nice big sign and tables outside with little goodies. I said «I have to go in a store called the Drunken Monk» so we did. At first glance, it looked way too expensive for me to be in. They have really nice glass items and such, collectible cuties for everyone, and just random stuff. Although there are some knick knacks, it’s not your usual beachy knick knack store, most of them have purposes, and are awesome. Most of the shopping I do at the beach is very fast, because I don’t want to buy a lighthouse figurine, or a bracelet made out of seashells. These are not beach knick knacks, and a lot of their stuff has actual purposes.
As we were peeking though, quite a few things were priced very well for the quality. It’s a great gift store, as I saw tons of things pretty much everyone I knew would love. I got my aunt the coolest trendy frog I’ve ever seen, as well as a dolphin key ring hanger she’ll probably put in her kitchen to hang spoons/​etc on. They have really cool door knockers, and we got my stepdad a really cool reproduction of an old Harley sign.
It was a really fun place to browse, they even have a ding and dent section for super cheap, and I could have peered around a lot longer if they weren’t closing soon, which the lady was super nice about. Everything was wrapped tightly in bubble wrap to give as gifts, and I got away with a haul. Now to keep it until their birthdays and christmas.
