Crown Pacific Inn Express

I was going to stay here. They had setup the wrong day, so I called and it was fixed instantly. I was looking at the reviews on a travel site on my computer. The reviews had 26 terrible do not stay here. I hung up and recalled not ten seconds later and was told they had a power surge and couldn’t cancel my reservation at this time. I called back an hour and half later and he told me his computer was back up so he could cancel my reservation. They didn’t; a few hours later I called for third time to attempt to to cancel the reservation and the guy told me he had not cancelled my reservation because I was not as important as the customers that where there. Then preceded to spend the next 5 minutes complaining about his job. At the end of his rant he said I might as well hit the cancel button for you it took 2 seconds. This worker total represents his hotel.

If we had paid $ 55 like the other reviews I could understand but we stayed on labor day weekend and believe the $ 180 rate was out of line. Room was not clean, broken moulding, dirty shoe prints in the bathroom, missing drawer pulls just to name a few complaints. If its the only thing left on a busy weekend ask to see the room first then start the bargaining!

We had a credit through
towards a room, so we were able to get 50% on a room at the Crown Pacifiq, right in the middle of Lincoln City with a beach across the street. Honestly, we would have been pretty let down if we had paid the full $ 145 given the state of the room, but we didn’t, so it was just fine! Yes, the furniture was old, rusty looking things in the bathroom, dirty sink and hairs on the floor. The hot tub on our floor wasn’t very appetizing either, so we decided to avoid. However-​great friendly staff at the front desk. Dog friendly, so we were able to bring our large-​breed buddy with us for a mere 10 dollar pet fee-​awesome! The beds were comfortable-​we both slept very well! And they keep a fan in the rooms-​perfect for blocking out traffic noises, as this is right on the 101. Given the competition in the area, if you are looking for a nice hotel I would suggest trying elsewhere-​I think that a nicer place could be found for the same rates. If you are looking for great location, no frills and a comfortable place to lay your head with your pooch by your side, this might be the spot!

$ 55 Full kitchen, Ocean view, and the best sleep I’ve had in months. A great value! I will be back.

I recently stayed at the Crown Pacific Inn Express for two days, snagging a double queen lake view room for $ 55/​night.
The ocean view rooms are an extra $ 10/​night, but the lake view was just as nice. Every room has a balcony.
Of course, it was the weekend with 60 – 70 mph winds and a storm warning, so not a whole lot of beach time.
Being as such, we stayed in the hotel for a large portion of the weekend, although the beach was literally right across the street.
The television offered about 20 basic cable channels as well as HBO.
I had brought along a portable DVD player so we could watch movies, but the TV didn’t have the red & white input plugs, so we were stuck waiting for Gran Trino at 1am on HBO.
The lady working in the lobby was super nice and accommodating when I had to change my reservation. She recognized me while checking in around 6 pm, saying «I was hoping you didn’t forget since you made reservations so long ago!»
The cleaning staff was friendly and prompt when I asked for new sheets. The sheets, however, were too small for the mattress and kept coming undone from the corners.
Free covered (as well as uncovered) parking available underneath the hotel; no rooms available on ground level, though there is an elevator and easy stair access.
The spa is open until 10 pm.
Several gift shops and restaurants are within walking distance on Highway 101.
There’s a Safeway, Dollar Tree, and a bunch of other major chain stores about 3 miles away.
This is a great hotel, I look forward to staying here again when the weather is nicer!
