Captain D’s is one of America’s fast food chains that specializes in seafood. This review is only for the location that is down the street from Wal-Mart on Lawrenceville Hwy in Lilburn. I gave this location 2 stars due to the following: Cleanliness: HORRIBLE! It’s so dirty! The tables aren’t clean and there are leftover food piece everywhere. I know it’s a fast food place, but at least clean up after people leave. Are they short on staff? Service: they have young kids running the restaurant that need to be retrained on customer service. Greeting the customers when they get to the counter won’t hurt. A simple«hello, how may I help you?» is simple, but would go a long way in customer satisfaction. The two young staff that worked the counter and the back were arguing about another customer’s order, in front of us… Completely ignoring the fact that we were standing in front of them. Totally unprofessional! Then didn’t care to greet us… Smh Food: I ordered the fried flounder plate with broccoli and corn on the cob. The broccoli came out cold. The fish was over seasoned, thus, salty. However, that was just my plate; My bf ordered the deluxe plate that came with crab cakes, fried fish, and fried butterfly shrimp. He also had corn on the cob and a baked potato as sides. He said that he liked it fairly well. Given it’s a fast food place, his plate wasn’t too bad. Price: it’s a fast food place, so it’s cheap. However, I was expecting to enjoy my food. Overall, I wouldn’t come to this location again, but I did see a seafood place across the street that I would try.

I ordered 10 piece fish and chicken family meal with two sides. We got OLDTOUGH fries AND hush puppies, almost literal fish sticks(VERY small pieces of fish) that was VERY salty and ROTTEN corn. When I called them after taking the food home literally 5 minutes away I was told«we can’t do anything about it, we only work here». Maybe I’m wrong, but isn’t the employees responsible for the food they serve? I will be contacting Corporate or whom ever is necessary

Worst service in the world. Literally took 20 minutes to get our food. The ketchup dispenser was dry, this was pointed out to the girl several times but you could tell she could care less. Once the fish came out it was good, but not worth waiting that long.

I waited in line at the drive-thru for approx 5 minutes so that I could place my order. No one acknowledged my presence. Needless to say, I pulled off and drove away. I really wanted to try that shrimp & crab platter before I went back to work for the afternoon. Someone else got my business today… and they greeted me/acknowledged my presence within 90 seconds…

The worst freezer burned fish I’ve ever tried to eat. The service sucked. Place smells like bad dirty pond.
