I have been a longtime autozone customer and a huge fan of the open 24⁄7 southeastern hub. But today I was«helped» by a young woman whom I had to repeat my vehicle and part I needed 3 different times because she persistently interrupted me to discuss a previous customer with her coworker. After attempting to find my part in the system, she very bluntly stated that the part was not only not available at the southeastern hub store we were standing in and nowhere in the southeast. I contested this statement because I had the part pulled up using the autozone app which had brought me from downtown Atlanta all the way out to Lilburn(an oxygen sensor). To which she stated that I was wrong and that it must have been purchased since I had looked the part up 10 minutes before. Solemnly, I accepted my defeat and headed over to the O’Reily autoparts down the road. They also didn’t have it, but the guy working was far more helpful and informative. Then on a whim I went across the street to another autozone in an attempt to confirm my suspicion. Big shocker — the attendant said he didn’t have the part, but he could place it on hold at the hub store down the road. At this point I am pretty much fuming as I head back up HWY29 to where I had been originally and was helped by the«assistant store manager» who not only brushed off my complaint about a whole hour wasted on a wild goose chase, but then proceeded to accuse me and my and my associate of flirting with the attendant which justified her incompetence and inability to properly use their database system. Needless to say I will never be going back to that store and don’t recommend it to anyone.

First impressions count a lot to me, and as I’m standing on line I step out of the help/info line to ask the cashier a question. She looked at me and said really rudely«anyone making payments ?» She ignored me and for me that was what made me think twice about coming back here. The other folks were nice and helpful, but she left me with a sour taste of bad customer service and I will not be going back again.
