yummy ice cream! I only took off a star cause some of the ice cream is dyed. I had the coconut cream in a waffle cone and it was delicious! Located in the marketplace, they will validate your parking ticket. Friendly server.

I’ve never really been into ice cream and then in the last few years I started really getting down on it. When I moved to Kauai and Skinny Mike’s opened, I thought I had actually died and gone to paradise… I was half right… Mike is a really nice guy and his flavors are local and constantly rotating to even more delicious flavors! If he has the Kona coffee brownie… go Nike on that sonofabatchofcookies for your own good. It goes fast.

We stopped by Skinny Mike’s while touring the island as part of a cruise. The service, ice cream and shave ice were so good we stopped by the second day we were only the island for a repeat visit. The cereal milk shakes were ridiculously good as well!

We stopped in for an ice cream after our helicopter tour today. The ice cream was beyond delicious! I tried a half-scoop each of the Coconut Cream and Kohala Road ice cream. Yummy! Skinny Mike was actually there serving up the ice cream. It was nice to chat with him about his business. Nice guy! Definitely worth stopping in next time you are in Lihue.

Tried the Chocolate macadamia ice cream right before we headed to the airport to go home. It was very good. Very creamy and delicious. Will come back soon

Salted caramel swirl, dragon fruit sorbet, banana splits, cold brew & drip coffees, and fresh made sugar cones! My personal favorite is the salted caramel swirl affogato: 2 scoops of their rich creamy ice cream topped with cold brew coffee. Simple but oh so good! For my coffee lovers… why not?!

After dinner one night we stopped by Skinny Mike’s and tasted several different flavors before our family of 5 finally chose what they wanted. The gal behind the counter was more than patient with us and the ice cream was fantastic.

I dig Skinny Mike’s! There was a great variety of ice cream, and the girl working behind the counter was super helpful when I couldn’t make a decision! I love champagne, but she warned me that the Champagne Sorbet was strong(it is!) — you would have to be ready for that one! After sampling a few I settled on the mint chocolate chip(the kid size version) — it was $ 2.95 for the tiny size, but it was more than enough for me! They validate for the mall parking lot and are just right across the road from the Marriott beach area /JJ’s /Dukes. Good find in a mall that doesn’t seem to have that much happening right now!

Walked in and waited a minute to be helped but it was worth the wait. She was very friendly and helpful, let us sample all we wanted without getting bent about it. Too many good flavors, ended up with pineapple cream… super tasty.

Skinny Mike runs the shop and is also a great resource for Kauai information. Ice cream is good, too.

One worker, long line but still amazing fast service! Our new favorite ice cream spot when we come to Kauai! The ice cream flavors all looked so delicious can’t wait to try them all!

Glad we decided to stop in! After getting pizza at Pietro’s next door we wanted to get something sweet so we stopped in to Skinny Mike’s. One of my friends commented that you should never trust ice cream with the word ‘skinny’ in the name, this is one time she was wrong! It’s a really cute shop with free wifi and a lot of cool and crazy ice cream and sorbet flavors. THEYALSOHAVEVEGANICECREAMSOTHAT’S ALSO A PLUS! The service was super friendly and the girl behind the counter was so helpful and didn’t mind when my group of friends and I(8 of us in total) wanted to sample a bunch of flavors. I tried several including the thai tea ice cream and dragon fruit sorbet. They were all so awesome and definitely nothing I have seen at other ice cream places! In the end I settled on the dragon fruit sorbet. It’s the prettiest sorbet I have ever seen in my life LOL! The one thing I’m honestly not crazy about is the location. Harbor Mall is such a weird and kind of run-down place. I feel like a lot of businesses don’t last here, but I hope with the new businesses they are getting, this will be a place people want to go again! With that being said, if you’re stepping off the cruise ships or just find yourself in the area, definitely check this place out!

Very short stroll(¼ mile) from Marriott in Lihue with many delicious, creamy, some unique flavors. Enjoyed the Oreo Mint in the homemade waffle cone. Single cone was large, cost $ 4.85. Shakes, sundaes, etc. Nice and clean store. Friendly staff. We will definitely be back! Located across the street in the Harbor Mall.

Loved the ice cream at Skinny Mike’s! I had the lychee sorbet and ginger cream. I really wanted to have more than one flavor, so I was grateful that they let you combine two flavors into one scoop. The lychee was flavorful, but a little bit too sweet. The ginger cream was perfect! The staff was friendly and patient while we sampled a few flavors. There were so many that sounded tasty! They also validate parking at the mall. Also, I love the décor with the boat benches and beach mural. We will definitely make a stop there during our next visit. One comment for Harbor Mall(Skinny Mike’s is in this mall): the parking lot is fairly dark at night. Some extra lighting would be much appreciated! Also, the sign pointing to the exit on the south side of the building is pretty small. The staff at Skinny Mike’s told us how to get out. Thanks!

Clean, spacious shop serving up top quality ice cream. We’ve been here twice in 3 days and will likely return before vacay is over. The s’more sundae is awesome because they torch the little marshmallows so you get that toasty flavor! My kids went nuts for the Cinnamon Toast Crunch milkshake, it tasted just like the cereal. Free and fast WiFi is another bonus. Employees are super friendly so make sure you hook up the tip jar.

What a great find! Our amazing on-board friend from The Pride of America encouraged us to visit this gem in Nawiliwili. I tried the dragonfruit ice cream, which was a rare and unique treat for me. I’d never had it — or dragonfruit — before. As you can see in my upload, the color is a bright purple with some seeds. The seeds were very subtle, unlike say raspberry seeds which I find to be quite uncomfortable in my teeth sometimes. The staff was very friendly and they let us sample all the flavors we wished to. This shop also provides free wifi to customers which was a welcomed benefit so far out into the Pacific.

Mac Nut Madness! YESSSSSS! I kept hearing everyone order Macadamia Nut Ice Cream everywhere we went and I finally decided to get it at Skinny Mike’s. It’s to die for! They have other favorites like Ube. If you’ve had the traditional Filipino version, you’ll love the Skinny version! The decorations inside are cute too. I love the little boat they have as a bench!

My sister and I had a milkshake and an ice cream. BOTHWEREDELICIOUS! Not the best ice cream in the world, but it’s SO creamy, and there are so many flavours you can choose from. I got coffee! I would’ve ordered a milkshake, but we were about to do a helicopter tour and I didn’t want to have to chug it! The ice cream shop itself is adorable. I love the décor and how it looks more like a themed café than an ice cream shop. It feels home-y and changes the idea of a grab and go ice cream place. The staff was friendly, and didn’t make my sister and I feel like dumb tourists! I’ll definitely return — and ordering my own shake this time!
