Count me as a huge fan of this place! My wife and bought a condo in Wailua this year. We hadn’t closed on the place when we first stayed in March and came back in May to update some furniture items with upgrading from a queen to a king being the #1 priority.
Since we’re from the mainland, our options to buy and get rid of old stuff are limited by our lack of familiarity with the island and time. Jerrry, the owner/​operator at Island Liquidators was a huge help with both.
First off, he recommended Home Depot as an option for a truck rental. $ 69 for 24 hours use of a flat bed F250 was outstanding.
After buying our new bed at Costco and getting it set up, we had to get rid of the old bed, 2 night stands and a dresser. Jerry to the rescue again!
We drove the truck over to Jerry and unloaded it. Jerry has some outstanding rate on what he gives for used furniture: he give you 50% of what he thinks he’ll sell for. We then turned around and bought a better than decent dresser that was a much better fit and 2 quality night stands.
