I called the appliance dept 5 times in 3 days and no one answered. I went to the store in the morning and stood around the appliance dept about 15 minutes thinking someone would come back. I went to the front counter and was told 2 people were currently on shift in the Dept. I went back and checked. Other customers browsing said they hadn’t seen a clerk. I went back up front asked for manager. I spoke to manager Tim. At this point I needed to go for work as 45 minutes had passed. Tim took my business card and said he’d have someone call me. A week has passed and no one called. Unfortunately in Hawaii we can’t order online. 1 star because the have what I want to buy but no one there to sell it to me.

Garden section closes doors early. Should put a sign so we as customers where we should park.
Customer service… one is helpful the other not so much. I’m about to spend couple hundreds dollars here and I totally feel like I’m bothering them…
I really wish we had more choices for home improvements! Home Depot all I wanted was to buy 2 chairs and a umbrella… I know it’s not much, but I’ve actually dropped $ 1000s of dollars in this place… ended up canceling my purchase because 1. the items didn’t have Sku#s & 2. the self checkout person was helpful, but no support to her, some
manager came by 10 minutes later and said they should be in the chair somewhere… WTF? No apologize for keeping me waiting, no what can I do? like they didn’t give a crap about my time…
Evidently Home Depot doesn’t care about my comments, as this is the third review and no response… pretty sad! pretty sad is that we have is them and ace…

SO FED UP!!! This store needs to get their Customer service skills in check (Kauai)…I had to tell an employee to basically shut up and listen, because she kept over talking when I was trying to tell her what I needed to have done. She also dissed the Kailua Kona Store # 1704, saying they weren’t reliable when it came to transferring items. WOW, not cool… She even discouraged me not to do the sale. Shame on you HOME DEPOT for hiring this rare breed of an employee. I had to get a Manager to assist me to what I wanted to purchase… Thanks to the Manager, I will get the merchandise I wanted.

Best customer service ever received at a Home Depot. Every sales associate I passed by offered help. Was even able to order, pay for, and have a refrigerator delivered (free) to the West Side the following day.

OMG!!! I seriously was soooo irritated shopping here today! Mind you, we don’t have too many options on Kauai, but when you cant find a single soul that actually works there and you need help… forget it! I asked the cashier 3 times to get some help in a specific isle… you think anyone came? Hell no! I had to grab a guy that didn’t even work there to help me. I tried to flag down 2 people that worked there and they acted like they didn’t see me and walked the other way. When I actually did get help 30 min later, the guy was really nice and answered my questions efficiently… but jeeez people! Learn some freakin work ethic and do your job!

I rarely ever go there. But every time I do, I’m always lost. I wonder all the time. But I dont mind. The workers are nice. They see my puzzled face and always ask if I need some help. I politely decline and keep being lost. I find interesting things when I do wonder.
I like to wonder in the garden, through all the different plants and flowers. Dont really care for self checkout since I cant exactly bag my long pipes, so I usually skip it.

Home Depot is good but not the paint department. The female worker kept saying that she wanted to go home. I was clearly waiting for her to mix the paint. She made no indication that it was complete.

Unfortanelly there is no other choise in the island. Ace hardware is too pricy.

This Home Depot makes me sad. This store does not have a selection of ANYTHING at all. I’ll bet everyone on this island has the same fridge, stove, doors, microwaves, lighting, etc. Why??? Very unfair. Great selection and prices on beautiful plants and friendly, helpful associates, though, unlike the mainland stores. Otherwise would’ve given 1 star. Get more stock/​available selections please!

This Home Depot is lightly stocked compared to the ones you’ll find in Honolulu. In fact, there are a lot of things outright missing.
For example, I stopped by to order powered metal shears. They carried a single model of a single brand (Milwaukee, which isn’t bad in and of itself), and NO replacement blades for it. Essentially telling me to keep buying more and more shears until I finished what I was doing.
Store associates at this location don’t have a great deal of awareness regarding products or their locations. When I was asking about different products, I had to talk to about 2 – 3 associates per request in order to find what I was looking for (or an answer that I wouldn’t find what I was looking for).
While they do have one of the most comprehensive collections of tools and supplies on Kauai, it’s kinda mediocre.
