Frozen Cow Ices and Cream

these ice creams are all freshly made (I am told) and delicious! I wish I lived closer but count it as a blessing since I’d be proudly large from cow licking ice cream consumption. can’t wait to see you in the summer again!

My wife and I recently lost our favorite home made ice cream shop to closure and have been searching for a replacement. Well it looks like the search is over. While this is a bit of hike for us, the friendly staff and the large selection of delicious flavors will have us coming back after last night. Got 4 healthy size scoops — Coconut, Horchata, Maple Walnut, and Chocolate Peanut Butter. Perhaps it’s a good thing that this is shop is a 30 minute drive because otherwise I may be eating ice cream multiple times a day. Do yourself a favor and make this a stop for all your ice cream needs.

Delicious home made ice cream, staff was very pleasant and made our night. Ice cream was delicious, best ice cream in long beach.

I am obsessed with the lavender honey flavored ice cream but have tried so many of the flavors and every one I tried was amazing! Brought my little niece and nephew and they had a great time! Even if you’re not from around Lido Beach, (which I’m not) this place is worth the trip!

The Frozen Cow is a dessert oasis at the end of a beach day… we have enjoyed several ice cream flavors among which are oatmeal cookie, lemon custard pie, banana pudding, sea salt caramel, and cannoli. All were delicious. The girls working there are very sweet and will quickly offer a sample of any flavor. You can tell the owner works hard to maintain their level of excellence. Luxurious ice cream in a family environment.

This is an excellent Ice Cream place, especially if you have had enough soft serve.
The salted caramel was excellent. Some very creative flavors.
Mouth feel of the ice cream (the creaminess) was top notch. The mint chip iced cream wasn’t neon green and tasted like mint.
Some of the flavors need a little more work. I had the rainbow cookie and it had to much almond extract in it. It tasted good but wasn’t perfect.
Service was friendly, I would go back.

I’ve been a loyal Marvel customer for over 20 years but I’ve heard great things about this place & a ton of people recommended it so I decided to give it a try. WOW was I pleased! They have multiple different delicious hard ice cream flavors, along with soft serve & a ton of different toppings. They also have ices, slushes & candy. It has something for everyone. They also allow you to taste test — which I value & respect. The girl helping me recommended the Sea Salt Caramel & Oatmeal Cookie — both were amazing. I even got Cookie Dough & Smores to go. The people working there were attentive, friendly & nice. The place is clean. They offer variety & are reasonably priced. I will definitely return & recommend.

This place is excellent. Great selection with original flavors such as cookie monster which is my favorite. I will never go to marvel if this is open. You don’t know what you’re missing.

It’s safe for me to say this is by far the best ice cream shop on all of Long Island, if not New York. I’ve had gelato in the south of France, all throughout Italy, and this place equals in comparison to those places. All their ice creams are homemade and it’s apparent. While they have the basic ice cream flavors, they also have mixed in some more exotic, more unique flavors you’d never see in your standard ice cream shop (i.e., sea salt caramel, lavender honey (remarkable!), etc.) Not only is the product delicious, but the owner and all their staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. A wonderful experience through-​and-​through. I can guarantee if you’re an ice cream lover, you will not be disappointed! This is now my official ice cream spot and hope to keep it that way indefinitely! Bravissimo!

This place was pretty good. I must say though, after going to Marvel for 20+ years, and being so close, felt like a betrayal on my part. They’ll let you taste any flavor, and a lot of them are pretty good, and taste exactly like the name.
Worth trying. And hope that the owner isn’t the one serving your (or working) because his co-​workers give a real size worth of ice cream to you, just saying.

Went in last night to pretend summer is here! Can’t believe we haven’t been here in a few months. Forgot how delicious the ice cream is and now they have Flying Saucers to take home in any flavor you want!!! We’ll be back again soon — we’re not waiting for springtime weather to enjoy the ice cream here!!! New flavor too — Caramel Latte — SOOOO Good!!!

Gotta love homemade ice cream in any sense! The salted caramel is amazing and a must have! Lots of variety and creative combinations. I also love the «adult» flavored rum raisin!

A great Ice cream Shop. Went there last week, 8÷8÷14 with my mom after seeing the huge car lineup for Marvel soft serve. At first disappointed we couldn’t get to Marvel, but disappointment soon turned to milky bliss when we tasted this shop’s homemade frozen dairy. I had salted caramel and chocolate and my mom had Chocolate chip and Pistachio. Flavors are great, ice cream base is fresh and milky tasting, texture is dense… I used to make ice cream while working in restaurants and I love that this place doesn’t incorporate too much air into their batch. Also, we spied adorable ice cream cakes in back freezer. Service was friendly and family oriented. Excellent work! Will definietly be back again.

The ice cream here is homemade and delicious! So many flavors to choose from, from traditional to inventive. My favorite so far is the Oatmeal – vanilla ice cream with lots of oatmeal cookie chunks mixed in. The Horchata (21+ as it contains rum-​soaked raisins) was also scrumptious.
Skip Marvel and come here for some good ol’ scoops of churned yumminess. They also have self-​serve candy bins, coffee, ices, soft serve, and baked goods!

I’ve been to Frozen Cow a bunch of times, usually stopping off on my way home from work. I’ve tried several flavors, but the chocolate peanut butter is what brings me back because it’s unbelievably good. The service is always good, and everyone who works there has always been friendly and polite. They will usually offer you to sample whatever flavors you wish. They also have some cookies and cake creations which are also very good. My one complaint? i wish they opened a little earlier.
