Food is great! Service is always friendly. There is a wait usually because it’s so popular, but because of the food, we wait! They are also a member of the«No Wait» app now which makes it that much easier to get a table without having to wait in line. You’ll be happy here.

Their food is so good! We were accidentally skipped on the waiting list and the staff apologised profusely and comped us, but they were SO amazing and the good is always great!

A very nice place for breakfast and brunch. We’ve been there multiple times and it’s good for groups too. They have a big, well organised parking lot so one doesn’t have to go around in circles. A large selection of beverages to choose from and a wonderful menu. The food is fresh and tasty. They have very friendly and alert staff. It’s usually a wait before you can get a table and we have waited up to an hour! The good part is that they have a bakery and coffee shop on the side their lobby where you can grab a cuppa and a slice of cake to help you pass time. One time our order was taking unusually long, however we were in a group and having a good time so we didn’t mind it, but our server realised it and brought it up with his manager himself. The manager came up to up with a $ 5 gift card and apologized. We were impressed at how alert their staff was.

I was invited here by a co-worker. Another co-worker raved about the fresh blueberry pancakes and how she waited an hour in line for them. The atmosphere was quaint and inviting with a mixture of tables and booths. I opted for the farm eggs special with eggs, turkey bacon, hash browns and upcharge for brioche french toast and orange juice. It was delicious! The orange juice tasted freshly squeezed, the scrambled were light, fluffy and melted in my mouth. The turkey bacon was just the right amount of crisp and the french toast was great. There was also water on the table and the server, was polite, attentive, not overbearing, and didnt rush us to finish quickly. There was a mixture of people, lots of children that day a couple of screamers but they left. Overall great experience and will definately return. This place reminds me of LaMadeline in the southeast region of the country.

I would say this is the best breakfast spot known to man. One of my favorite things to eat here is their Oreo pancakes. It is possibly the best breakfast place if you ever go to in your lifetime. Their fruit is extremely fresh, their lunch meats are also very delicious as well. Wildberry is by far my most favorite place to go for breakfast.

Used to be our go to on Sunday AM, even when it was ridiculously crowded. Somehwere along the line they changed the menu, same time they got rid of the German pancake, things went downhill. Egg Harbor has not replaced them as our fav. We don’t go there anymore. To wait in line FOREVER to get to a seat with meh food and meh service, just was not worth it for us anymore. Used to love the place.

Had brunch with a party of 7 here today. As always they were very busy. We had a choice of waiting 15 – 20 minutes for a table inside or get seated right away outside. We opted for outside and were pleased to have awesome umbrellas shading our area!(It was quite warm today). Our food came out slower than I’m used to but was delicious as usual. The omelets are the best! This is my «go to» spot for brunch time in Libertyville! Consistently tasty!

There is usually a wait, but it’s always worth it! Great family restaurant, good food, coffee while you wait, and they cater to Gluten free!

Wow, this place is delicious. Even my 4 yr old said«that was the most delicious food I’ve ever eaten». We did have to wait about 40 mins, but it was worth it. The restaurant was very busy but we still had excellent service and out food came out quickly. We ordered a Venetian skillet, tiramisu and the signature berry pancakes, everything was awesome. This will be our new favorite Sunday brunch place!

This place was busy when we got here, waited about 30 – 40 min. We just arrived here in north Chicago and read the reviews on this place and now I see why this place has 5 stars ! The pancakes are good. I had the Mexicana skillet and it was 10 stars! We enjoyed it and we will be back soon!

Get there early because there is going to be a little bit of a wait especially on the weekends, but well worth it. Service is great and food came surprisingly fast despite having every seat filled and a 30 minute wait. Nice environment and clean restaurant that caters to both the family and occasional friendly gathering.

Very popular place and fills quickly. Wait times can be long especially with many large groups taking many seats. Not every table filled as well and keeps line longer for some reason.

Amazing breakfast! I ordered a Florence Benedict and my boyfriend ordered cinnamon roll french toast! Service was great and timely. We will be going back before we leave town!

*The good: The pancakes are delicious; fluffy and malty. The fruit was fresh and portions were a good size and not overly huge. Great coffee! They serve Intelligentsia coffee which makes me very happy. The service was super great. We had an attentive server who was nice and the busser did a good job, too. *The just fine: I got the Rutherford omelette; it was ok. Too brown and not very carefully made. It was almost like a scramble. My husband got eggs over easy, ham and fruit. What can you say? It was fine. *The weird stuff that made me supremely happy: It was CLEAN; very, very clean. The only thing on the table are the small salt and pepper shakers and a small, stainless steel sugar packet holder. They were wiped down. I asked the server for hot sauce, and she pulled two out of her apron pocket(which was nice!) and they were totally wiped down. When they serve the ketchup, syrup, and creamer, they are served in ramekins and small pitchers, respectively. As someone who worked in the restaurant industry for 20 years, I cannot tell you how much ketchup bottles, or any other condiment that is served in a communal bottle, GROSSMEOUT. Ugh. A bunch of other customers have touched those bottles, kids do gross stuff and who knows how long and how many times one ketchup bottle has been refilled. Believe me, it is disgusting. So… anyhow…yes, clean, fresh condiments are good… and sanitary. This is actually why I would return to this restaurant besides the food being pretty good. More panckes next time and the salads looked good.

Lovely dining experience all around. Servers are polite and attentive. Décor/atmosphere is modern. While restaurant is clean. I had their special this morning. Food– Wild Mushroom Omelette Buttermilk Pancakes Fruit. Coffee. The omelette was delicious. The shitakee and cremlini really stood out. Was flavorful through and through. Pancakes were fluffy, basic but good. Fruit was your basic mix. I wish they did something different. The coffee was great nice and strong. I look forward to coming back and trying more.

I order Benny’s from every breakfast place– these guys do their Benny’s really really good. The only complaint and a minor one– is to try and improve the muffin to get the same standard as the rest of the food. Girl ordered the Thai chicken salad and every single thing on that plate was amazing. Same with the side order of wild berry pancakes– the sauces and the drugs were all amazing, every bite of the pancake was flavorful, even down to the butter and syrup. Can’t wait to be back.

Been here a few times. Love all the different flavors of pancakes. I had their regular pancakes once. They were really, really good. More sweeter than any pancake I’ve ever had. So far I’ve had the biscuits and gravy, butcher block skillet, caramel apple pecan pancakes, cinnamon roll pancakes, tiramisu pancakes, signature berry bliss pancakes. All have so delicious. I made the mistake of not ordering breakfast and got the orchard chicken salad sandwich. I suggest always ordering breakfast here. The service has always been good. Except one hostess was a it rude a month ago. She wouldn’t sit us because our whole party wasn’t there. It was slow that day &5 mins later someone walked in with ½ they’re party and she sat them. I understand if that’s a rule that you need hour whole party before being sat, but you shouldn’t be selective on who that rule is applied too. Personally I would rather eat somewhere else, but everyone always wants to come eat here when they visit.

Fresh, top-notch quality ingredients… from the fruits, coffee, vegetables, meats, all the way to the eggs. I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while because of the great Unilocal reviews. I came early, before the churchgoers start pouring in. The place is clean, with friendly servers, and the interiors are nice. Here is a breakdown of what I’ve tried: FRESHBERRIESPAN-CREPE with extra bananas… I did not realize that the crêpe was semi-pancake thick… my bad. I should have gotten the obvious clue«pan-crêpe»…The pan-crêpe wraps were too thick for me and they tasted like heavy butter and flour so I started just picking on the mixed berries and fruits. The fruits were amazing and there were so much in my plate. PORKSAUSAGE, OVEREASYEGGS, HASHBROWNS, BACON– Again, high quality ingredients. Everything was cooked perfectly and the bacon was just to die for! The service was fast and efficient. Four stars? Well, I admit that it was my fault for expecting a thin crêpe wrap… I’m just being honest that the pan-crêpe wraps were too«floury and buttery’ for me:)

Went there at lunchtime with a friend who was in town visiting. I had breakfast(a Rocky Mountain ham and cheese crêpe without the peppers) with a side of tiramisu pancakes that we shared, and she had a sandwich. Her sandwich(don’t remember which one now) was huge, and she said it was very good. My crêpe was wonderful. The tiramisu pancakes were a little disappointing — the cream in between tasted sour, more like cream cheese than tiramisu — but were good for what they were. To me, the cream inside the tiramisu pancakes should have been sweeter, with a coffee flavor. From what I could tell, this was neither sweet nor coffee-flavored, or at least not strongly enough to distinguish it from the surprisingly tart taste. Next time I’ll try the cinnamon roll or banana cream pie pancakes, and maybe I’ll have better luck with those. We walked right in and got a table at lunchtime, but it was the morning after an overnight snow so business may have been lighter than usual. Most of the tables filled up and remained filled the whole time we were there(about two hours). Service was good, and we weren’t rushed out when we stayed and talked for awhile.

Wildberry Café is home to the acclaimed«Best Pancakes in Chicago» and I believe that their Signature Berry Bliss Pancakes are among THE best in Chicago! The Signature Berry Bliss Pancakes are light, fluffy, and griddled so perfectly to hold up the wonderful toppings of Vanilla Anglaise, Blackberry Coulis, and Berry Mascarpone topped with delicious fresh berries. Their Passion Fruit Mango Lemonade was refreshing and delicious! I highly recommend this mix — it’s delicious! Their Homemade Biscuits and Gravy were good but not the best. I did like the crunchy-fluffy-buttery texture from the homemade biscuit beneath the sausage gravy. A rather heavy dish that I felt still needed some spice from the sausage. Wildberry Café’s savory Mexicana Sizzlin’ Skillet, on the otherhand, was delicious with the chorizo nestled between fluffy scrambled eggs, spicy jalapenos, creamy avocados, grilled onions, crunchy hash browns and melted cheeses. Topped with fresh salsa, this skillet hits the spot! My party and I barely made it before closing(2:30pm) at the Libertyville location and the hostess was very accommodating given that we were still waiting for one more person in our party to arrive. We didn’t feel rushed and were treated well from the hostess and our server. Their customer service was very appreciated. I have to add that their Libertyville café is so big and so beautiful! I really enjoyed the atmosphere here and plan to come back the next time I’m in town!
