I have now had a few pizzas since my last review. They have it right now at this location. Pizza has been awesome. Hope the consistency continues. One thing I will say is that the staff at this location are always fantastic. Great attitudes and no matter how busy they are they greet you and treat you great. Fridays and Saturdays there is always free pizza in the entry when you come in. If you can get a hand on a slice. Sometimes people will hover over the pizza and take multiple slices.

Got it right tonight… thanks! This is what I expect from Malnati’s…Pizza was perfect. I really appreciate having the opportunity to give constructive criticism & someone actually listening and understanding… kind of amazing these days actually.

In a word inconsistent. When it’s good it is very good. But sometimes it’s just barely average. This is for both the deep dish and the thin.

Deep dish and thin crust are good. I order uncut buttercrust. I thought the crustless pizza was terrible and I don’t care for the mushrooms they use as they taste canned.

On my way to my hotel from spending the day in Milwaukee. I was getting hungry and it was getting late. Didn’t think I was going to make it in time to get a pizza from the Bolingbrook location so I Unilocaled a closer location. It was a little drive from the freeway, but if their pizza was going to be as good as the Bolingbrook location. It would be worth it. And it was! It takes some time to cook their pizza so plan in advance and pre order it. My daughter told me to visit this place, I was reluctant. But glad I did! Pizza is very filling. Love their sweet sausage, and their cheese is awesome. Whenever or if I ever comeback to town this is a most stop.

One of our favorite Pizza places(Pequod’s is the only thing better!) I love their deep dish, but nothing is better than their thin crust. It’s like the perfect crunch to go along with their cheese and sauce. This is also the only place that I can get my 3 year old daughter to eat her greens. She loves the Malnati’s salad. And she’d probably drink the dressing if she could. Veggie lovers must get the Lou’s.

Awesome Chicago style deep dish pizza. I get the Chicago Classic uncut sometimes with extra sauce and it’s unbelievably good. It’s more a knife and fork pizza but of you don’t mind getting a little messy you can grab a slice.

GET… THE…DEEP…DISH! That’s all I can say if you like Chicago style pizza! Expensive yes but totally worth it! The cheese is fantastic and so is everything else!

My favorite pizza place for sure, best deep dish I’ve ever had! Usually order pepperoni and spinach, sometimes adding sausage and giardiniera if I’m super hungry. One slice becomes a meal. Always leave it uncut so the crust doesn’t get soggy. Delivery is never late, usually early. The tiramisu is tasty and the wings aren’t bad either.

Almost 5 stars… got 4 because the pizza was greasy today. It had a good flavor, customer service was good and the service was fast. The peppers were really good and added a nice kick to the pizza.(Kept the peppers separate from the pizza).

Lou Malnati’s pizza is the definition of Chicago style pizza. It is a must have if you’re from out of town. I usually just order deep dish cheese, but I’ve had their veggie deep dish before and it was pretty good. I’ve also had their thin crust, which was delicious but I prefer deep dish hands down. If you’ve never been to Lou’s, go now!

Was half an hour late to pick up and they kept it nice and warm!!! Great services, pizza was good but the crust was very bland… However it’s better than Papa Johns, Dominos, Pizza Hut put together!

This place deserves a 5 star for delivering pizza in this nasty chiberian weather! It snowed about 4 – 5 inches today and I didnt have time to make dinner. Thank goodness for Lou’s! I’ve actually never had their deepdish pizza before and after my first bite, I was absolutely hooked! I got the sausage deep dish! The delivery man was also very nice. I’m still shocked by the fact that he was able to drive in such terrible weather condition. Nevertheless, I’m thankful that they were able to provide today! I’ll definitely be going back for their pizza! :)

Yum yum yum! This review obviously is not about the food. We all know it’s delicious. This review focuses on the service. I called in my order with a pleasant person on the phone and picked up my pizza ONTIME. It was ready when promised(only a ½ hour!).

This review is mainly based on their frozen pick-up to-go pizza. The pizza is really small. They say it serves 2 – 3 people. But nope, split between two people, we were both still hungry afterwards. Both of us said we could have eaten it whole ourselves. There seemed to be less cheese than normal(ie eating in, or ordering a larger one to go). And the toppings seemed rushed or put together very sloppily. I will say, though, that the cashier/employee I interacted there was very nice and suggested a couple options for me. Even though I already knew what I wanted, I appreciated her input and help. I love Lou Malnati’s but hopefully this is the only venue that is less than a 4-star quality place. TIP: Serving more than 2 people? Call in your order for a pre-made half-baked pizza to-go! All you’d have to do is bake it in your home oven for ~20−25 min and it’d be ready. Large delicious deep dish pizza awaits…

I love Lou’s. The thick crust is always golden brown, buttery delicousness. The wings are great, and I love the Lou’s salad. There are only two issues I have with this Lou’s: the serious lack of selection when it comes to the beer and they can never seem to get my to-go orders correct. I have order to go from here 5ish times, and not a single time have they had my order correct. This would be a bigger issue if they weren’t willing to make it right, but come on folks. I don’t order anything strange or difficult. The last time I ordered an italian beef and a meatball sandwich. I got 2 italian beefs… what the hell? How do you confuse those? They gave me credit for a free sandwich the next time I ordered, so I can’t complain too much.

If you want Chicago-style deep dish, Lou Malnati’s is where to go! Though I haven’t been back to Chicago in some time after moving away, of the favorites(Gino’s East, Giordano’s, Uno’s), Lou Malnati’s has always been my favorite. And this location doesn’t disappoint. I would add that this location doesn’t do dine-in, so be aware. This was a bit of a surprise to us, but we accommodated and just ordered a medium The Malnati Chicago Classic with pepperoni, green peppers, and black olives to go. It was just my colleague and me, so the medium was MORE than enough — we could only each eat two pieces and wasted the other two! I think a small would have sufficed. I also tried their salad, and loved the zesty lemon garlic. I recall liking their spinach pizzas in the past, and I will add that The Malnati Chicago Classic comes with *EXTRA* cheese(as if that’s needed), so be advised. I think if we come here again, we’ll opt for a bit less cheese. By the same token, that’s what deep dish is all about; Am I right? Unlike Giordano’s last week(which, again — to be fair — I ordered a flat bread, not their deep dish, so this is not an apples-to-apples comparison); my memory did not fail, as Lou Malnati’s lived up to my memory! Just as delicious as always.

Lou Malnati’s is in my opinion the best deep dish pizza in Chicago. I’ve picked up pizza from here since it’s easier and more convenient than trying to go to the restaurants since they are usually pretty packed. The staff is friendly and the wait times are reasonable and the pizza is ready when promised.
