Libertyville Lincoln Mercury Quick Lane

I have been going to Quick Lane since 2000 and will continue to go there for my service. They are VERY accommodating and nice to work with. I have always found them to be honest and wonderful to work with. If you haven’t met Ed or Pat yet, stop in. They keep the coffee pot going and will make a fresh pot just for you if the previous one get’s a little old.

Really good service but they’re anything but «Quick». I waited about 2 hours, on my lunch, on a Monday afternoon. I suggest dropping off unless you enjoy downtime or getting in trouble with your employer.
I appreciate people who take pride in their work, but this visit got me in trouble. I AM glad that I found the coupon though.
All that being said, this is still a much better choice than other «fast» oil changes in the area. I have a long list of places I won’t bring my car to anymore because they proved they cannot be trusted.

I had a great experience with Ed and his QuickLane auto repair shop today. Before I started the review, you should know that I have very limited (to none) knowledge about cars and parts. So naturally, anything unusual to my car always makes me nervous. Normally, I would only go to Honda dealership for any things car related. So I came to a Honda dealership this time too, because my car has been making this weird noise. Well, they were booked and unable to take my car in for a quick look. The next available apt would be 5 days later, and the starting cost for diagnostic test is $ 65. I turned to my dear friend Unilocal to find an auto repair shop. Another shop I called was also too busy to help me out. I called Quick Lane and spoke to Ed. His shop was also really busy at the time I called, but he tentatively asked me to tell him more details regarding my concern for my car. And quickly offer to take a quick look at the car for me. Within less then 5 minutes after I got there, Ed took my car in and did his inspection. He came back about less than 10 minutes later and told me that I was all set. It was a simple issue (the heat-​shield was loose), and he fixed it. Expecting to pay, so I asked. To my surprise, Ed told me not to worry about it an hope that I would come back for future services. I wrote the review not because I didn’t have to pay for the service, but because I value his excellent, tentative, and reasonable customer service. This experience definitely opened my eyes and made me rethink my misconception of auto repair shops vs dealership. And I will definitely be back for future services!

Went in today for a battery. My Outback is five years old and is still on its original one. I decided its better to act now rather than to react later when I have no choice. Ed Via spent moments to explain to me how to apply for a $ 25 rebate.
I was out in 24 minutes! wow, they installed and sold it that fast! Thanks Ed!

Everything you can ask for. Quick, honest, and very reasonably priced.

I love this place, great customer service and never experienced anyone pushing me to buy this or that. Only gripe I would say I have is the seats, I’m 5 ‘4 and my feet tangle, they don’t even touch the floor and I cant get comfortable during my stay there, I guess I’ll just ware my high heals. lol
