This place is the go-to place when we want consistent food and courteous service. Barbie, Alejandra, and Cesar deliver great service. There is a waiter we avoid but with that exception, this place rocks. Even when it is busy on a weekend evening, there is a short wait for a table and the food still comes out fairly quickly. We eat there several times a week. This is one of the few places in town I will take a guest due to their great attitudes and good food.

I guess if you come in here happy, upbeat and in a good mood — you are consider drunk and they won’t serve you a glass of beer. Totally in sane and way out in left field. I have never had issues with this place and they need to go back to TABC training and learn the difference — I will never return to this place and I differently will not refer people to this place. I guess you have to come here in a crappy mood and you will be served a beer. So beware to all the happy people. Just horrible Just been informed at 9:56pm by a friend that went with me to this venue that she has been sick in the bathroom since she got home around 5 o’clock-ish. She advised that she has been vomiting and diarrhea.

We thought we would try this for dinner because our neighbors said it was good. We had to hunt down our waiter for refills, he would walk by our table and ignore us! The food was fast but not good. Fajita beef was chewy, the chicken had no flavor, and my carnitas were full of fatty inedible pieces. All in all just a total disappointment.

For years, while living in Leander/Cedar Park area, my wife and I would eat at Jardin Corona and Jardin Del Rey and we absolutely loved the food. The salsa is HANDSDOWNTHEBEST salsa I have ever had. I would like to consider my self an EXPERT in salsa and this is the Winner by a Landslide. One of the best things that we like is the consistency of the Food and service and all of their locations. With that being said, I’ll tell you that my visit to Jardin Corona in Liberty Hill last night was as good as any of the previous visits over the last few years. We drove 15 miles out of the way yesterday after a golf tournament at Cimarron Hills on 29 and wanted to eat some good Mexican Food. Once again the staff at Jardin in Liberty Hill knocked it out of the park. Excellent Food, Excellent Service and you guys have definitely earned a fan and customer for life. If you want great food, great prices and excellent service… Try Jardin Corona… You wont be disappointed.

Wonderful selection of uniquely distinct Jardin Corona dishes from the small Tex-Mex chain that spans it’s restaurant throughout the hill country towns. Food was good but not great. The cheesy components that make up the Perchuga Jardin Corona seemed to falter this visit(velveeta-ish). The wait staff was not as attentive as in the past. Merely coming by when it was convenient for her!

BESTMEXICANMARTINIS !!! I have tried several places when it comes to a true mexican martini and these guys have the very best. They have a serving limit of 2 per person and you will understand why. One is not enough but two is too much… you will need some coffee! I recommend you share the second one. The food is very tasty too. My favorite is the Camarones en Brocheta. Six huge grilled shrimp that have been stuffed with monterey jack cheese and jalapeño and wrapped with bacon. Wonderful paired with their Mexican Martini!!!

I really wanted to like this place. OK, a lot of reviews start that way, right? But I really did. I have been to the Pond Springs Rd location many times and loved it! I mean LOVED it. We decided to go to this location because we were trying to avoid the annoying traffic in Austin because of sxsw and spring break and the weekend before St Pattys day. We went in for an early dinner and seated right away. The restaurant seemed clean. We ordered soup an enchilada plate and some chili con queso as well as a couple of margaritas. The margaritas were the best thing about the meal. It was not«bad» but it was not great either. Our tortilla chips were cold and most were broken into little pieces. Queso was good, but it was not served hot. It was warm enough to keep from congealing into a glob. Hubby loved the soup. The enchiladas were barely warm. The beans tasted like they were straight from a can. I was really disappointed, because the other location food is served so hot that I usually have to wait a while for it to cool down before I can eat it. Service was OK, not bad, but not great. Had to hunt someone down for limes, napkins and spoon for the soup. Food was rushed out so fast, we didn’t have much time to eat but a few chips and salsa/queso. We were seated, ordered, ate and paid up within 30 min. Just felt rushed. No reason why, the restaurant was only ¼ full. Next time I think I will just go to Austin., or perhaps try the one in Cedar Park.

Everything was fine except waiter was not up to speed .I had to go to counter to get my daughter tea filled never check with us. I ended up living a 5 dollar tip which was way to much it was all I had. I would have only left a dollar or 2 .If you are going to be a waiter act like one.

Different location. Same name. Same bland Tex-Mex. I can’t describe in words how miserably bland and bad the food is at Jardin Corona. Everything I’ve had other than the chips and salsa(which were ordinary) tastes like a bad imitation of commonly recognized Tex-Mex. Every couple of years I get dragged into a Jardin Corona by a friend or coworker promising that its better than my last memory of the place and each time I regret the experience. What boggles my mind is the huge following this place has. Similar to the Jardin Corona location in NW Austin it was packed in here. Give them credit. Somehow they have mind control over their customers who believe the food is good and keep coming back. I’ve never seen anything like it. Each time I eat at a Jardin Corona I find myself beating my chest and gnashing my teeth in the parking lot on my way out crying and screaming«Soylent Green is people!». Like Charlton Heston’s character, Robert Thorn, I feel like I am one of the few people in a world of Jardin Corona followers that recognizes that this is not good food.

My family gathered at Jardin Corona for my Big Sister’s Birthday. It’s close to their home and is apparently popular. We arrived shortly after noon and the place was very busy. I know the restaurants are limited in this area of Liberty Hill, but this place appears to have a good customer base. The smells from the kitchen are mouth watering of grilled chicken and fajita meats. We ordered a pitcher of 2XX’s and the chips and salsa were tasty. I had the«El Cowboy-Vaquero Plate.» It consisted of a tostada covered in queso w/guac and lettuce, a cheese enchilada, a chicken enchilada, a beef fajita taco, rice and beans. Whoa! Too much food! I didn’t finish my plate. In the word’s of my nephew. «You are not a Vaquero!» due to leaving food on my plate. Boo :( Everyone enjoyed their meal and it was worth it. If you happen to be in the area, stop in and have a cerveza or margarita and some good food. Yee Haw!!!

I have to say the margaritas are AWESOME here! But beware, they’re nice and strong. My favorite is the Sangria Margarita. Mmmmm. .. The chips and salsa they bring to the table are warm and fresh. I appreciate that, being the first impression you get from a mexican restaurant. The food is favorable, I’ve tried the cheese enchaladas and the chicken soup. Not my favorites, but I’m more than willing to keep trying dishes until I find a great one. Hey, I’ll go just for the drinks and chips! My husband and I have gone during lunch and almost turned away seeing that the parking lot was absolutely full! But we still got seated within 5 minutes and the service was great. Can’t beat that! Next time I’ll try some other Unilocaler’s menu favorites. Thanks for sharing Unilocalers!

I recommend the Pechugo Jardin Corona, Chile Rellano, Chicken Enchiladas Verde, and The Cowboy Combo Plate. The Salsa is some of the best around as are the Margaritas. The Steak Fajitas SUCKED !!! Nothing but Onions and hype … and it was tough as Hell. Taco Cabana has much better Fajitas for lots less $$$. I hate TV’s in restaurants. I think they install them for people who don’t know how to or are too lazy to control their children. There are way too many in this place for me, turn that crap off and EAT !!! All of them are tuned to Spanish speaking channels too which frankly bugs the hell out of me. It seems like they are there for the help to watch since they are the only ones watching it. BTW, most people could really give a rat’s ass about Soccer; I don’t watch American Sports either, at all. Perhaps they are trying to create atmospere; I think indiginous music would acheive this better.

We were recommended to this place and I am VERY happy to be the first one to add this restaurant to Unilocal and review it. I give them solid 5 stars for these reasons: FOODISAUTHENTIC! BESTCHILERELLENO I have ever had. Hands down. It’s stuffed with ground beef or chicken. I ordered mine with beef. Coming from California, most places will only stuff it with cheese which is really boring, but not this place. Anyone that stuffs their chile relleno is ok in my book! We also tried the CHICKEN and BEEFFLAUTAS. Chicken was little smooshy inside for my liking, but it was really tender and seasoned well. They give you generous amount of food so be ready to get full instantly! ATMOSPHEREISGREAT! It’s spacious so you can have a big group or small. This restaurant has a nice size bar with a plasma TV so you can catch up on all your sports. It’s colorful as Mexico and intimate as the town they are located in(Liberty Hill). We thought it was amusing to see how all the neon signs are all over the place and it’s plugged right by you as you sit in booths that’s located by all the walls. lol SERVICEISGOOD! I think most of the waiters/waitress speak English. However, some workers(such as one busser I encountered) did not speak English. We got to talk to our waitress for some time and she was well traveled, thoughful, entertaining and lovely as they come. We loved her! Our waiter we had the second time wasn’t so talkative. He took our order, brought our food and checked in on us few times and was pleasant enough. FINALTHOUGHT: This place is a gem. Margaritas are strong(they don’t kid around here), very friendly staff(they looked like they enjoyed working there), great food at a good price that serves at a speedy service, clean and colorful establishment and plenty of parking outside just off of highway 29(little out of the way for most folks around Austin), but who cares?! I absolutely LOVE this place and will miss it for sure when I move out of my current town in a year or two. So, I better get most out of it and go at least once a week!
