Trevor and jennifer reupholstered an old chair for us they did a fabulous job delivered on time and within budget we highly recommend this lovely young couple who have a work ethic thst is difficult to find nowadays

The absolute best around. I’ve used them 3 times in less than 3 months and wouldn’t even consider using anyone for any of my furniture needs. They re-​caned a chair for me that many wouldn’t even attempt and it was reasonably priced and turned out better than new. They have repaired a broken chair and I can’t even tell which of the 4 was now broken. They also got 3 deep water rings out of my end table and made it «waterproof». I wish I could find something for them to reupholster as I’ve seen their work and it’s AMAZING!!! Honest, hardworking, quick turn around and high quality workmanship.

I hired Industrial Envy LLC, to reupholster an old settee and paid in full on delivery – I was happy to get it back, and I trusted owners Jennifer and Trevor Zandt had done a good job. But when I had the chance to look more closely at their work, I found visible globs of glue, sloppy seams, poorly attached welting, puckered/​wrinkled corners, and frayed fabric edges (among other things). A local upholsterer later told me that, in his opinion, the job was «the worst I have seen in 19 years of doing upholstery work.»
Jennifer and Trevor Zandt, the owners of Industrial Envy, ignored several emails and a phone message asking how to deal with this. They eventually offered me the option of «free upholstery» or a partial refund of $ 400 within 10 days. I accepted the $ 400 (although the local upholsterer later said I should have demanded a full refund). Weeks passed; no refund arrived, and more of my emails went unanswered, So I finally outlined what I felt was my only recourse: a Better Business Bureau consumer complaint, online reviews, and possible legal action.
This got their attention. The Zandts finally responded, reneging on their refund offer and citing what they said was «clear evidence» that I «may have tampered with the upholstery work after delivery.»
They seemed to have forgotten that Jennifer Zandt had sent me photos before delivery showing puckers and wrinkles in the upholstery that should have been smooth. Or that I had asked her about them in an email, and she had said they would eventually straighten out. (Not so, the local upholsterer later told me, adding that some of the fabric was applied wrong side up, the weave was not «squared,» and it was cut too short to be properly stretched. All my doing, I suppose.). I’m happy to share all emails and the dozens of before– and after-​delivery photos with anyone who asks.
They also threatened me with legal action for leaving critical reviews. They accused me of trying to «blackmail» them for more money (despite having no evidence of this – I had already accepted the $ 400 refund – less than half of what I paid them).
They continue to offer what they say is «free» re-​upholstery (just out of the goodness of their hearts). But it’s not free if I have to bring the settee from College Station, TX, where I live, to their business in Round Rock (I already paid them $ 150 extra for pick up and delivery). It’s not free if my efforts to communicate with them and resolve issues are ignored or disparaged or met with false accusations and threats. And it’s not free if I have to just trust them when they say they’ll do a better job the second time than they did the first.
I’m not surprised they have customers (and friends) who leave positive reviews. They make great-​looking stuff. But in my case, what they describe as their «quality standards,» «business ethics,» and «strong belief in customer satisfaction» seem to be just empty words.

Industrial Envy creates a beautiful American made product with quality and design that will last! Jen and Trevor designed the beautiful porch swing and sectional couch for us that is featured on this page. It is everyones favorite place to be. The couch is so heavy that no amount of wind or rain can move it! A welcomed change our old teak couch that was easily blown over and fell apart after just a few years of use. They not only construct a quality product, but involve you every step of the way (if you desire to be involved as we did!). Thank you Industrial Envy for the beautiful place to relax on our porch! Truly art!
