This place offers a generous portion of the«Vegetarian Sobu Noodles and Stir Fry Vegetables» for only $ 3.99. The«Vegetarian Delite» has rice instead and is $ 3.19. For under $ 5.00, you can have a healthy, filling dish of vegetables and sobu noodles(or rice) prepared before you. I’ve been to this place many times and have always gotten the Vegetarian Sobu Noodles. I confess to being very disappointed tonight to find out that they were out of the sobu so we had to take the rice, which had what appeared to be the prepared kind of chopped vegetables you’d buy frozen.(I have seen this used in Chinese restaurants as well as vegetable fried rice.) The vegetables normally stir fried in front of you were already done so they had been sitting at least a few minutes. The stir fry cook spoke no English so his co-worker(who had slightly better English skills) had to explain in great detail to him what we were ordering. Also, from my previous experiences here, the teriyaki sauce is supposed to be poured over the food while it’s quickly prepared over high heat. When I saw that none was being added, I had to ask for it but neither the cook nor the cashier seemed to know how the food there is normally fixed. However, we were given very generous portions of teriyaki sauce on the side. The food wasn’t quite as hot as it normally is but was still good. I had enough left over to save some for another meal. We requested ice water, which is sometimes hard to get in fast food places. It wasn’t a problem here. The water was nice and cold. All service was given with a smile and a «thank you.» I’m giving three stars instead of five due to the lack of soba noodles and the failure to prepare food on the spot, as has always been done before. Despite what was lacking, the food tasted good and customer service was good, albeit hampered by language barriers. I still recommend this place and hope that the troubles we experienced tonight were isolated ones.

I really don’t like eating at the mall food court and should have stuck with chick fil a. I had the teriyaki chicken special and it sure didn’t taste like terriyaki. The fried rice wasn’t bad but the vegetables was basically cabbage(yuck!) and two small pieces of broccoli. The regular drink size is big so at least you get your money’s worth in it. I guess I am still biased toward Golden wok on Richmond Rd. I still haven’t found a quick Chinese/Japense place that satisfies me like it does.

Hey what more can you expect from mall food, really? There are soba noodles!!! My soba noodles were great I would give maybe more stars but I had to deduct because they had several things on the menu board that they didn’t even have there aka sushi. In general soba noodles are gluten free so that’s awesome for me. They needed more soy sauce and a little sirracha to give it a zing. Other wise kinda of bland mild flavors, but I think that’s how most noodle dishes come. Flavor to taste. Otherwise noodles and veggies tasted fresh and yummy. Can u believe I ate almost this whole thing? Seriously tho it’s a food court, get over yourself ! I asked for extra veggies at the grill and they were happy to pile them on. Food is made right there while you watch ! My meal was seriously under $ 5.00 Hot green tea also available.
