One of the best places to eat in Lexington!!! For years I’ve always loved their selection and combinations!

Although their food is ok, the staff seems to have no idea what they’re doing. Most of them don’t use note pads, even when taking complicated, custom orders. Therefore, nothing comes back right. I wouldn’t write a review like this unless it’s happened to me SEVERAL times, which it has, unfortunately.

The hostess warned of confused service tonight. She was right. Order was taken quickly but server returned about 10 minutes later to confirm what I ordered. Sure enough she hadn’t entered it. My date received her meal about :10 before mine. I saw a dish sitting in window and thought it might be mine but server after server just looked at it and grabbed their dish and moved on. Server returned to ask if I had received my food, I pointed to window and it was room temperature by now. Just refused it and asked to take it from my bill. Server did return with Bill and refilled ice tea that had zero ice in it. I was shocked that I was charged full pop for the tea and the other meal. Had similar experience at another location a year before. This was my last visit.

It’s a solid 3 stars because the food tastes decent, but it may not be hot when you get it and the service can be hit or miss. This review is specific to my last visit, so read on. — It was a typical busy Saturday night at the restaurant, and my small group and I expected to wait for seating. Luckily, the wait turned out to only be about five minutes which was nice. The hostess was sweet and cleaned off the only available table, which happened to be right by the entrance and we were promptly seated. Our waitress came by after a couple of minutes and took our drink order, and in a couple of more minutes returned with the drinks and took our food order. As we sit and wait, more people started to pile in the small waiting area, and some kids begun to run about. At one point, one child bumped into one of us and kept going. Sigh. Luckily, food arrived and it took our minds off of euthanasia. Sadly, my calzone’s interior parts were just warm enough for melted cheese but not hot. Hungry, I ate it anyway. The server finally made her way back around our table, that clearly displayed three empty glasses and she just stood there about two feet from me, staring. I looked at her and said, «hi, can we get refills, please?» She took a step, and snapped out of whatever thought she was in and apologized and said yes. So, as I said earlier… the food tasted good but it wasn’t hot, and the service was a bit of a miss when we visited. Meh.

It’s been a few years since I last ate a meal here. At that time I ordered chicken diavolo. I was very disappointed with the taste and lack of any spicy kick. Truthfully I wondered if I was served spaghetti with sauce from a chef boyardee can. Tonight I decided to try again, and this time I was not disappointed. The sauce had plenty spice and flavor. In fact my mouth is still on fire. Nice job Puccini.

First let me state that may review is from a delivery order places last Wednesday, so I cannot comment on the dine in experience. I had a small ultimate warrior pizza and a slice of cheesecake. Both were really delicious and I would highly recommend either dish to anyone choosing to visit this joint.

Positives: Their fettuccine Alfredo with chicken is super creamy, the chicken is thinly sliced and the salad that comes with it is awesome with some of their house made ranch! We also got the BBQ calzone which was delicious as well, we added jalepenos for a kick. Negatives: Not much really, we got there right at open and staff was friendly. The interior isn’t the nicest but it’s not awful. Vibe: Look, this is not a fancy date spot but it’s a step up from fazoliz, cheap and fast. Good place to grab a bite for lunch during the week.

I love the gluten-free pizza even though I’m not gluten-intolerant. They also have a good wine selection. This is pretty important when pizza is involved IMO. My favorite pizza is their Panama Red — shrimp and pesto with other yummy goodness… YES!

The Gluten free crust for the pizza is Perfect! The crust is crunchy not greasy. It’s not too thin. The taste is not cardboard. Great Service and tasty.

Great customer service. Hard to find a parking place but great service. I placed a to go order and realized when I got home we had gotten the wrong order but they re made our food and delivered to our door. They were so friendly about it!

Puccini’s is my pizza and calzone fix. It has three the big three Cs for a neighborhood place: casual, comfortable, and consistent. They also offer sandwiches, pasta, and related appetizers and entrees. Good for kids, reasonable prices, good food, eat-in, take-out, and delivery. If you’re in the mood for a good, basic meal, this is a good choice.

I ordered a small lunch salad, and i have to say it was not what I expected. Lettuce, onions, one tomato slice, a few green pepper strips, a little hint of cheese. I’ve ordered this salad before from another location and it was a lot more impressive. This may be my fault… it’s possible I had ordered a dinner salad previously. I definitely missed the black olives. And I have to say, the herbed buttermilk dressing that they purport as ranch is NOTRANCH. It’s basically just watered down bleu cheese dressing without the punch of bleu cheese flavor. I recommend literally ANYOTHER dressing. I ordered the King of Hearts pizza — tasty! It features artichoke hearts, mushrooms, bacon, whole black olives & capers. Can’t say I saw a whole lot of mushrooms, but the toppings that were there were pretty worth it. I ate a few bites then offered to trade a piece with my wife, who order a small Campfire pizza. Bad idea… after eating a piece of the Campfire, I really didn’t want to go back to my King of Hearts. Stinky rich Gorgonzola cheese, fresh thyme, sweet onion marmalade and chunks of smokey sausage all meld together to make this amazing, amazing pizza. I could see this getting a little two sweet after a few pieces, but honestly, it would take a lot. This stuff was delicious. We will definitely have to come back for more Campfire.

I’ve had pizza and a pasta here. The food seems OK, not special, and it’s not really overpriced, I suppose. Service is interesting there. They were nearly empty each time I’ve been there, and the servers seem inconvenienced by our presence and are somewhat unresponsive.

This place is top on my list! Both times the food has been delicious! They have great quality toppings and as well as homemade ranch and garlic dipping sauces. Also they have some of the best cheese breadsticks and BBQ pizza that I’ve ever had! I would recommend this to anybody carry out Dine in or delivery! PS after eating their food you don’t feel like crap from all of the grease like most other pizza joints.

Gluten-free pasta and bread are great, as are the meatballs(dairy-free and pork-free so as to accommodate my many allergies). Don’t waste your time on the gluten-free pizza. If you want great GF pizza, try Gluten Free Miracles Bakery and Café.

Great pizza & great atmosphere! The sweet crust is different than any pizza place around, therefore making it a must try! And the cozy dinning area makes my mind and body escape to a lil pizzeria in italy! And having Blue Stallion on tap is awesome perk! Overall– its one of the many great pizza places in Lex, a perfect date night place!

We love the pizza, meatball sub, chicken Diablo, and spinach/artichoke dip. The gluten free menu is extensive and was a big hit for our family who was visiting from out of town. We wish the owner would add TV screens for the UK sporting events. I understand the NOTV policy but please this is Kentucky and there should be a small leniency for the basketball and football games. :)
