After much phone tag, they did pro-rate my POD rental. However, rather than just leaving a message saying that they would do it, we repeatedly exchanged messages. And, when I finally spoke with a representative, who was not particularly friendly, he said that they would pro-rate the fee but he wanted to know why I hadn’t had the POD delivered at an earlier date. Of course, I had requested an earlier date; they were simply too over-burdened to deliver it. And, I am uncertain why, rather than simply leaving a message letting me know that they would pro-rate the fee, the representative wasted both his and my time to chastise me. His sole purpose in wanting to speak with me seemed to be spite. In any event, to charge somebody an entire month for services the customer didn’t use is quite simply not nice nor appropriate. The price of this service combined with the trouble arranging it is more than the benefit it provided. I wish I would have used a traditional storage facility where I have had very positive experiences.
