BRING YOUR SWEET TOOTH!!! Always the best! My wife and I have ordered several cakes from them (including our wedding cake) and will continue to do so!!! They’re very professional and do an excellent job!!! Go in for a cake tasting and leave with cookies and bonbons!!!

This bakery has some good reviews and for the life of my I don’t know why. We got two brownies and two bonbons, while the cake was ok the icing was the terrible granulated sugar icing that was on my birthday cake when I was 4. It is cheap tasting. The brownies were fudge and had white sugar crystals on the bottom. It was just cheap tasting.

Love the cake! We got married June 26, 2015 and they made and delivery our wedding cake. Their price is very reasonable and each serving/​count was very generous! Jessica who worked with us was extremely nice and flexible with her time. The cake was beautiful on our wedding day and we didn’t have to worry about them at all. I didn’t have much time to eat at the wedding but I did remember the unbelievably tasty bite of cake I had!
Remember to remind them to bring a box for the top though… they forgot to bring mine and I had a hard time taking the top home lol.

I have to say that the lady I just met up there is the nicest lady I’ve ever met. I have been in here a few times over the last week or so and today I swung by to get a couple cookies for my son and had no idea my wife had gotten my debit card out of my wallet to pay something and didn’t put it back! Well I start to get the cookies and realize that and was extremely embarrassed and the lady actually covered them for me. She told me I could swing by and drop the money of the next time I’m there! Nobody does stuff like that anymore! I was completely shocked! I know it’s just a couple cookies but it’s the point not the cost! She doesn’t know me from the next guy but was nice enough to do that! So if you see this ma’am I want to thank you very very much! Now to the reason everybody goes there lol! I have tried the cookies, the donuts and the cream horns and I have to admit I am addicted lol! The cookies with icing on them are my son and I favorite thing from here. I really don’t think I can make it more then a couple days without one now lol! If I could give more then 5 stars I would based on the cookies alone lol not to mention the amazing customer service! So we will now be extremely long time customers!

Got a king cake & some cookies from here for Valentine’s Day on a recommendation from a friend. Service was great & so we’re the baked goods. Really top notch bakery. I highly recommend it.

Went in to ask about ordering a cake and the girl working was not only rude but seemed annoyed that I had my two year old son with me, who was not doing or touching anything (I’d understand if he was)
The cakes seemed a little pricey, so i decided to try some of the pastries they had on hand and was not very impressed.
I did try some cake a few months later that a friend had ordered for her son and it was ok. Glad I didn’t order one after all.
The store could use a little updating as well.
For a more reasonably prices cake I recommend Caramandas … Their cakes are superb. They taste great and they’ve always decorated them so well. Magee’s cakes are also good but they are a little more pricey.

Wonderful pastries, cupcakes, cakes, cookies, and more. Their buttercream frosting is amazing and their seasonally-​themed giant sugar cookies are perfect for parties or treats. The staff is super friendly too. Definitely a hidden gem of Lexington!

I’ve always lived on the Southside of town, so this has always been the bakery that my family and I have frequented. This Saturday I picked up a cookie for a friend of mine to help cheer her up. It was a sugar cookie decorated like a spider web with a black plastic spider ring in the middle-​so cute! For myself, I had a donut with chocolate icing. As wonderful as their donuts and cookies are, their cakes are definitely their specialties. I remember a carrot cake my family had several years ago like it was yesterday-​it was SOOO good! Their petits fours are also like heaven. It’s not just the frosting either, the cake is yummy too.

Ordered a German Chocolate cake for my Brother-​In-​Laws Birthday. Delicious! Placed order on Wed afternoon and picked up on Friday afternoon so quick service too ;)

I haven’t tried their cakes, which I think is what they’re known for, so those may well be amazing, I just haven’t experienced them. I have had their donuts, brownies, cream horns, and a couple of other pastries. Nothing has been terrible and most are better than what you’d get from a grocery store bakery, but nothing has been as good as the same products at numerous other bakeries in Lexington. Prices are comparable to slightly higher than other local bakeries. There aren’t many bakeries in this area of town, so if you live nearby, it may be worth stopping by for a donut or something to avoid driving, but other than potential convenience, I just don’t see a reason to return here when there are several better bakeries in town.

Best bakery on the south end of Lexington. I have been eating the Mondelli family’s baked good since I was a child in Lexington, back when they were still on Mount Tabor road. Because of this I will always use Mondelli’s bakery as my basis for comparison to other bakeries. The staff are local and since it is a family owned bakery they are very friendly! My daughter and I will get caught up talking for a while some times we’re in there provided there isn’t a line and we’re not holding it up!
I always love the smell when I go into the bakery. I love their cases that display the favorites that I’ve grown accostomed to having there. The donuts are cheap and hot. My favorite selections are the chocolate chip cannoli, the custard and cream filled long johns, and the glazed donut holes. Their crème horns are the best in town IMO.
Mondelli’s always seems to have a seasonal favorite as well. From fried pumpkin pies around Thanksgiving to King Cake around Mardi Gras they seem to have all their bases covered! Their specialty cakes look amazing and their wedding cakes also look very very well done.

Ordered a video game designed cake for my sons 7^th birthday and it was fantastic. The kids and adults gobbled it up and we had none remaining. The art work was spot on for the gaming logo/​design we asked for and they’re very reasonably priced.
We also have eaten many doughnuts, cookies and pastries from their shop and the best part is the very friendly staff.
