Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft

The location is convenient for me since it’s close to home. The store is always clean, and the staff is helpful and friendly each time I visit. I’ve purchased fabric here, items for crafting masks, and most recently yarn for Joe to crochet some afghan throw blankets. We were happy to see that they carried the brand and colors that he was previously using to make a throw!

Plotting to get your employees fired behind their back, rescheduling after scheduling in order to frustrate and make your employees look bad, having a backstabbing fake nice persona, sexually harassing employees, giving them all your share, plus theirs and someone elses work while you do nothing, and stealing from your employees… yeah, not my idea of an upstanding business. That’s what i delt with from the management at this place, included was a time a manager HIT ME with a broom for answering a personal phone call. After i was ill, i was taken completely off of the schedule and the management wrote me up for simply defending myself against an out of line customer. I don’t care WHERE i am, if you come at me in a way that is insulting or cruel, i will respect myself enough to set you straight. I was told the costumers were some of the nastiest people and i would NEVER shop here again, even if they paid me because when i went to buy something, they treated me like a criminal for wanting a discount or using a coupon we have in the mailer. I worked here for well over a year of my life and it was the most miserable time in my existance. If you’re looking to take a job here, keep looking for other work. They will underpay you, treat you terribly, and 12 hour shifts on your feet suck because good luck getting your 15 minute breaks.
I feel bad for the people who own this company because this particlar company isn’t necessarily bad, but this store is and i will not return.
